I've already got the material for the plastic panels, it's just a matter of finagling the final details on the skeleton. I'll probably start on the plastic body within a week or two.

Typically no, the barrels are usually metal with no plastic on them.

Well, the skeleton looks awesome, and with all these great ideas the final result is sure to look great.

Thanks lorax. The paintball guns I have seen(admittedly a limited number) have not been modeled after actual guns. They just had the metal barrel, but with this better looking barrel design I didn't know if it would be practical to fashion a barrel that looks like the picture. Or if it would be easier to make a "normal" barrel then use ABS or what ever to make the cool-looking one.
