A break from "Care Bear"
It's time to take a break.
Cerbere Landing, or Care Bear as many of us have come to call it is one of my favorite maps. However, lately, when it comes up into rotation, I start to think of all the other things I could be doing, like yard work or cleaning. The fact is I am sick of playing this map, and I know I am not the only person that feels this way.
My thought, (one that was echoed by many in team speak) would be to remove Care bear from rotation for a few weeks. Or if nothing else, limit it to once per rotation near the end of the list so that when the sever crashes we don't end up playing the map over and over and over and well you get the idea.
One suggestion for what to put in its place would be some more of the smaller 16 player maps with no vehicle and higher ticket counts. (ex: 200-300 tickets on tiny-Tunis or similar.) That is if this is possible.

I feel the same way about Cerbere right now. I'd like to see more of the 16 player Tampa and the no vehicle Verdun also.

Me too. It seems like we have a rather small map rotation. What happened to the titan maps and some of the other less played maps? Variety is the spice of life after all...

I agree! The problem is excatally as you said: when the server chrases the maprotation start at the very beginning. But if we have a different map we would be playing that a lot
I like the idea of the small maps. Especially at the beginning when the server is not fully populatet. I'm thinking here of little Verdun.

As many people don't like how the server resets back to the start and we rarely get all the way to the end, would it not make sense to just reverse the order of the rotation and have the current last map be the new first map?? Or maybe a small version map first while the server is re-seeding!?!?

Titan maps are a lot of fun. I'd like to see more Minsk and Shuhia Taiba in both Titan and Conquest modes. Minsk, in particular, is a lot of fun in my opinion. Originally Posted by Spulat

I agree, but I've been seeing an awful lot of Cerbere recently and was complaining in teamspeak about it a while back. I also seem to crash Cerbere at least once every time the map loads, so... Originally Posted by Zhohar

I think mixing up the rotation would be a good compromise. I know I for one like Care Bear a lot, so I'd hate to see it removed from the rotation.

I agree, Care bear can be a lot of fun. As i said, It is one of my favorite maps. Still I'm getting sick of it and would like to take a break before I start to hate the map.
Just for some perspective, according to www.gametracker.com our server ran Care bear 18% of the time last week. A full 5% more than the next map. That means on average, one out of five games is Care bear. It's just getting to be a bit repetitive.
