I am tired of the current rotation as well, but rather than just complaining I put pen to paper...here is what I came up with:
Belgrade (16) - Inf Only - good starting map for low pop/seed, balanced.
Tunis (32) - Decent all around map, no choke points.
Sidi Power (16) - Armor map with some good infantry potential as well.
Cerbere (32) - Inf heavy, some potential for a standoff, overall good map.
Camp G (32) - Inf heavy, large potential for a standoff, can be great or horrible.
Shuhia (32) - Armor heavy, well balanced.
Belgrade (32) - No standoff, good all around map, worth playing with armor.
Berlin (32) - large potential for standoffs, can be great or horrible.
Minsk (16) - Balanced way to play Minks, armor heavy, decent for infantry
I designed this list to focus on flow of action, and be balanced between armor maps and infantry maps (IMO 2:1 inf:armor is balanced). Belgrade 16 isn't something I've seen on the server but I think it can be fun, should have lots of action but truthfully I am a little concerned about how it'll play with large number of players...open to suggestions here.
