We don't change the rotation everyday do we?
I meant change the starting point as often as we (at the moment) change the rotation anyway, however often that is...
Also, I'd have thought some copy and paste job would do the trick, I.E. going from starting at map 1 to map 6 would mean copy and remove the first 5, then place them at the end. Same rotation. And the starting list would be written down somewhere here...a series of numbers the admins could look up or note down when they needed to, so long as they'd only have to keep track of how far along that we are, rather than looking up an entirely new rotation and adding it everytime.

Here is my new thoughts on a rotation:
1. Tunis Harbor
2. Camp Gibraltar
3. Suez Canal
4. Belgrade
5. Cerbere Landing
6. Verdun
7. Operation Shingle
Then every few days you switch out Suez and Verdun for Sidi or Shuhia.
It isn't super long. It mixes Infantry and Armor maps well. Nobody has to spend multiple rounds in a row as an assault team. And frankly, if you're on for so long that this rotation is too short for you, there's this ginormous ball of flame in the sky you should see sometime. It's call the SUN!

Enough armor on these maps to satisfy hardcore vehicle whores like myself while being focused mostly on infantry. One purely armor map towards the end, and one good seeding inf only map at the start. Also, the same team never has to assault under bleed twice in a row.

Kelvin shingle and camp g one after the other result in the same team attacking twice under bleed... might want to change that

I like that rotation though I'd alter it a little from specter. First, the inf maps other than verdun 16 should be the 64P versions. Second, I think rearrangement might be good to put op shingle later (second map is still a seeding map) . Third, I added verdun 32 to the armor options as verdun 32 and 16 are basically nothing alike

I like this one a lot... More than my other suggestion for a couple of reasons: 1. It is simple and short. 2. It prioritizes our favorite maps 3. It balances assaulting and attacking and head to head maps really well. 4. It requires less diddling by admins than my suggestion (just swap out the armor map every day or two days and it keeps it fresh. Finally 5. I think it's great that the community was able to come together to make something like this. Kudos for kelvin for starting this one.
To illustrate the balance this has, say you stayed for a full rotation with sidi as the armor map. This is what you'd get:
Eu head to head
Pac head to head
Eu defend
Pac attack
Eu head to head
Pac defend
Eu head to head
Pac attack

Only reason I put shingle second was because I personally am not too thrilled by having big Tunis as the second map, but anyway, my biggest beef is with 64 player, I dislike large ticket counts, makes games drag on far too long. I think 64 player might be fine for, say, Fall of Berlin or Sidi maybe, but not Camp G, for instance.
Anyway, do what you will with my suggestion, its the admins that decide not me. ^^

Well, I think except in pretty specific circumstances, 64p works best. when we play with 46 people, the tickets go pretty fast on 32, and it prevents the give and take that normally takes place. That said, I think we've made good progress. It's now the admins' turn.
