I love tiny verdun, but it can be incredibly unforgiving and if either team gets 2/all the flags, its pretty much guaranteed that you're unintentionally going to attack the UCB. Plus, some of the EU spawn points for their UCB are right out in the open.

Re: You make the rotation

So we play with a 64 ticket count on city maps then.

You're right, I wasn't paying attention to the threat of a cap-out or the three vehicle maps in a row. My rotation is also short, so I need to work on it some more.

Well, I'd say tiny tampa is just as unforgiving. only you have a licence to spawn kill there. Not to mention If you hold all 3 flags those 100 tickets aren't going last very long under that bleed anyway.

The only issue being how long Titan rounds tend to take. Historically speaking, back to back armor maps usually usually leads to a higher count of player turnover than back to back city maps or a single armor map between other maps. We try to avoid too much turnover.

Re: You make the rotation

Here's our first rotation that we will try. Keep submitting them, we might not comment on all of them but we will review them and choose another when the "time is right" . This rotation will be put into place sometime soon. Thanks Anospa!

Operation Shingle, gpm_cq, 64
Belgrade, gpm_cq, 64
Camp Gibraltar, gpm_cq, 32
Highway Tampa, gpm_sl, 64
Tunis Harbor, gpm_cq, 64

Sidi Power Plant, gpm_cq, 16

Minsk, gpm_nv, 32
Tunis Harbor, gpm_cq, 16

I know that the end looks armor heavy at first glance, but Sidi power plant is the smaller version and Minsk is no vehicles. I also purposely made gibraltar 32p to cut down on the pain and suffering that can be the toll station stalemate. There are 11 maps in the rotation, so sides should switch after each complete rotation (if that would ever happen...). Tunis is the only map that is in there twice, and in addition to the vast difference between baby and big tunis, it is spread fairly far apart.

It had to be a 9th member that ignored the rules? And here I thought it would be someone from the 8th that would do that...

Re: You make the rotation

Glad I could help!

I kinda think Minsk no vehicles could be a fun seed map, but still could be a huge pain.

I can't imagine Minsk no vehicles is any better at all. I think the only thing that might break through on Minsk is an FAV, and it would have to be lucky (or EU would collectively have to have their heads up their...)

Hey now, you said no conquest Minsk -- gpm_cq and gpm_nv are different! Maybe it was just the smaller team size, but the reason I chose Minsk no vehicles was from the bfcl practices we had -- I don't recall there once being a stalemate there. I'll rework though, if it'll make you feel better

Mm, I really enjoy infantry only Minsk, but I could see things being different from BFCL 8v8 and 24v24. You could easily cover all approaches with only half of the EU team paying attention. I still would love to see it somehow though...

Re: You make the rotation

This 16P mix has a mix of infantry and vehicle maps all based on the 16player maps meaning that they would all be the 100 ticket count with the thinking that the tickets can be adjusted for the server so that you have 200-300 tickets on these maps permitting a battle to form and develop with some chance for recovery. Maps were chosen that were different and newish to TG, the bleed maps are evened out for both sides.

On the map Sidi Power Plant EU is closer to their first flag than PAC is so it is followed by Verdun that has a similar set up for EU meaning that a different team will get the close advantage. The go to map for crashes is Camp G a good seed map and in a format that is still very fun with few players.

Camp Gibraltar, gpm_nv, 16
Cerbere Landing, gpm_nv 16
Belgrade, gpm_cq, 16
Suez Canal, gpm_nv, 16
Fall Of Berlin, gpm_cq, 16
Camp Gibraltar, gpm_nv, 16
Cerbere Landing, gpm_nv 16
Shuhia Taiba, gpm_cq, 16
Belgrade, gpm_cq, 16
Sidi Power Plant, gpm_nv, 16
Verdun, gpm_nv, 16
Suez Canal, gpm_cq, 16
Sidi Power Plant, gpm_cq, 16
