    I like Minsk, it's one of the only assault maps that I enjoy playing as either PAC or EU (I generally prefer PAC on assault maps). I had thought of putting in a second round of Minsk right after the first, but that is probably a bit too much it, especially if one team is on top of their game and shuts the other down twice in a row.

    We're going to try rotating out rotations on a more frequent basis, hopefully weekly.

    Update to the first post:

    Rules:
    1. Not everyone has Northern Strike, don't include it a regular rotation.
    2. Include map mode and size for each entry in the rotation. Proper map names and modes to choose from are:
      • gpm_cq - Conquest

        belgrade
        camp_gibraltar
        cerbere_landing
        fall_of_berlin
        minsk
        operation_shingle
        shuhia_taiba
        sidi_power_plant
        suez_canal
        tunis_harbor
        verdun
      • gpm_ti - Titan

        highway_tampa
        minsk
        shuhia_taiba
        sidi_power_plant
        suez_canal
        verdun
      • gpm_sl - Assault Lines

        highway_tampa
        operation_shingle
      • gpm_nv - No Vehicles (Infantry Only)

        belgrade
        camp_gibraltar
        cerbere_landing
        fall_of_berlin
        minsk
        operation_shingle
        shuhia_taiba
        sidi_power_plant
        suez_canal
        tunis_harbor
        verdun
      • gpm_ca - Conquest Assault

        wake_island

      Please list the mode, this will make it easier for us to program it in should we decide to go with your rotation. If you do not list a mode, we will ignore your rotation. The format of each line should be something like this:
      belgrade gpm_cq 32
      This entry would be 32 player Belgrade, conquest mode.

      Please note, everything must be in lowercase, spaces in map names should be replaced by the underscore "_" character, must have mode and size, no commas or other punctuation.
    3. Infantry Only rotations will be ignored.
    4. Armor Only rotations will be ignored.
    5. Titan Only rotations will be ignored.

    Again, failure to follow these rules will result in us ignoring your rotation. We won't comment on it, we won't clue you in, we'll just skip it. What am I really saying here? Don't be lazy, follow the rules! I'm glad I got that off my chest, now let's move on...

    Things to consider
    • There will be one round per map. At the end of the round, teams switch and the next map plays.
    • Operation Shingle is an EU bleed map
    • If there is a titan map in the rotation, the server will default to 48 players. That really means 46 players due to the SM kick script.
    • 16 Player maps have 100 tickets
    • 32 Player maps have 200 tickets
    • 64 Player maps have 300 tickets
    • Some maps only have 16 and 32 player versions however you can still set the size to 64 players, that essentially gives you 300 tickets instead of 200 which equates to a longer time on the map. We do this on Gibraltar, Cerbere Landing, and Fall of Berlin, to name a few.
    • Putting an even amount of maps in the rotation causes both teams to play the same maps as the same faction when the rotation restarts. That's not always a problem but it can be if your rotation is too short.

    I'm okay with Minsk in the rotation. I think twice would be overkill, and it'd make me wonder why Cerbere doesn't get played twice. But once is fine.

    If the first rotation is just for a week, then I'm cool with it. Just have to make sure that when the admins get tired and stop searching for new rotations that it doesn't get left on one that's too "out of the mainstream" (to quote SCOTUS nomination criticisms).

    Well, last night was fricking terrible. Suez Canal, Cerbere Landing followed immediately by Shuhia. That was the better part of an hour spent on armor maps, which we KNOW the community as a whole likes less... but sadly seems to be strongly favored by one or two admins :P
