Re: You know you break the rules...admit it!
Yeah I definetly broke some rules before. One the VERY FIRST day I had put my |TG| Tags, I had intentionally killed someone in a walker I gunning in with RDX because he refused to get out. I needed the seat so I could support my squad so I got really... agitated when he refused to get out and thus I killed him and I got banned.
But I cleared the air with Eroak >phew< and I'm in the clear!

I can vouche for Zhohar letting the enemy kill him after he surprise hops. I witnessed it last night on Cerebere Landing at south town cap. I was reloading when i see Zhohar come up to and enemy and surprise hop, rather then taking advantage and killing the enemy, Zhohar ran around him without shooting til the pac soldier killed him. I immediately engaged the enemy and rez'd Zhohar. True, honorable gentlemen Zhohar was.

Heh... I actually got revived after you mowed me down but I came up with a different kit. When I went looking for my recon kit I saw a solitary RDX laying there and thougth to myself "uh oh, this isn't going to end well", and it didn't.
Killed twice in a row by Reader, and less than 30 seconds between, props to you for that. However, even though I may think back on this day and frown, I only have to think back on the day that I drew first blood and knifed the leader of the "knife74" squad and a smile once again returns to my face.

Re: You know you break the rules...admit it!
That is no way to go through life. You need therapy. :P
I my conscience is clear and I know for a fact that I did not break a rule I could care less what it may look like to the biased observer.
I have a question for you (not you as in Zohar...it's a general "you" as in all of you reading this), since I was accused yesterday of bunnyhopping when I am sure I wasn't.
Most of the time when I am walking over broken walls I get stuck so I jump every time. Yesterday I got caught in one of those spots a couple of times by the same guy so, rather than getiing caught by the texture, or whatever it is that stops me on my tracks, I jumped once each time and tried to return fire. I think that is absolutely justified and wouldn't call it bunnyhopping. If you have no idea what I am talking about imagine that you walk into a corner or indentation in a wall and when shot at you just stand there unable to move instead of jumping over and freeing yourself to be mobile again and able to defend yourself.
I find that one jump to get over an obstacle is acceptable and a fair approximation of reality. No one would knowingly run into a wall and take fire or not jump on top of or behind something to return fire or take cover. Let's be realistic.
Repeated jumps, especially with changes in direction mid-air, that is what I call bunnyhopping.
How do you feel about that?

Re: You know you break the rules...admit it!
Jumping to clear an obstacle/get over cover is ok. its wrong when there is no cover or obstacle to jump to avoid fire even if its just one jump. dolphin diving (jumping and then going prone mid air) is in the same realm of jumping to avoid fire, its ok to dive over cover but not just to avoid fire.
in summary your movements must have a valid purpose i.e. clearing an obstacle to get to cover or directly getting to cover.Reapator, overlord of ponies

About the only thing I can call myself guilty of is bunny hopping but that is an annoying reflex that I am fighting to curb and its getting better I tell ya!
Nowadays it rarely happens, but since I get spooked easily especially when I am crouching or prone and come under fire, my thumb twiches and I jump twice which looks like a bunny hop

Re: You know you break the rules...admit it!
I have a bad habit judging distances when blowing RDX.
And there are times when I swear the rules of physics should work (for example: a Walker's leg *should* shield you from the bulk of the blast). So occasionally RDX goes off before I can get clear or before I think I'm clear enough. >.>

I am bad for jumping when throwing grenades, it gives you a few more meters, and I am so used to aiming grenades that way that it's difficult not to do it. It's only really a problem if I am approaching a flag and taking fire while tossing grenades, looks like a bunny hop from their view I am sure.
I admit I don't always listen to the CO, if he gives me a questionable objective I'll ask for clarification before I change my course, most of the time he won't even reply so I just disregard it.

Grenades & Rockets! Damn those things make me jumpy. Not that it does any good because I have this nasty tendency to jump into the blast... So I ask you, does it count then?

Re: You know you break the rules...admit it!
Yeah. I'm trying my hardest to break reflex jumping of missiles and grenades, and it's working, but it's slow go. The other day I had someone shoot the anti vehicle missile at me from a long way away.. you know, the thing that locks into the target the guy is aiming at? well, as it got close, i jumped over it. Now.. I dont know if it's bunny hopping, or simply jumping over an object that is flying through the air, but I sure did feel bad after.
About a week ago, I was playing on the TG server with almost total pubbies on full sized Tunis. My team was getting absolutely wrecked by the enemy walker, orbital strikes, and everything. My squad wasn't listening at all, and several times the enemy would go into our uncap and grab our own walker so we were facing 2 walkers. After probably 15 minutes of this, I was extremely frustrated. I took a buggy over to Junkyard, from our base, and was about to get out and cap the flag when my anger took over, and i just kept driving, right on into their base. And then.. yep.. i took their walker in that moment of weakness. Got a couple of kills and got destroyed shortly after, but... i still did it. And, I'll never do it again.
