    Exclamation 8th MERCS Schoolyard Scrimmage 08/08/08

    08/08/08 @ 8:00PM EST


    Where are you going to be when the 8th mercs take over TG? Well you better be in Teamspeak if you want to join in the crazyness that will be THE 8th MERCS SCHOOLYARD PICKEM NIGHT OF CRAZYNESS.

    The details: On Friday August 8th at 8:00pm the 8th mercs will be hosting on server 2 a schoolyard pickem battle for the ages. For those that have not yet been part of a pickem this is how it works. We will have two captains, one for each team that will take turns picking players from the list of people in teamspeak. In other words if you want to play you HAVE to be in TS at roll call which will start at 7:30 EST. After teams are picked you will have around 15-20 minutes to figgure out who is going to be commander, SL and what the strat is going to be and then all hell breaks loose. We have yet to decide on the map but the captains will come from the 8th.

    There is not going to be an official signup but I would love to gauge interest by replies and smacktalk in this thread. As far as the map...You will find out until about 15 minutes before start of battle but I will tell you it will NOT be a northern strike map, but it could be a new map, an old favorite or maybe even a Titan map. Normally we would play best of 3 but depending on how long people can stick around we will just keep playing and balance out the teams as we need to. Should just be a night of insanity and most of all FUN!!!
