New to 2142...How do I find the TG server?
Got my graphics card finally so I can play basically everything that exists. But I've gotten pretty good at 2142 playing random Conquest/Titan multiplayer servers. But I cant find any TG servers, I'm wondering if there are just none on when I was on(Thought they were 24/7), or theres something I don't know(like private servers?)
Just tell me what to do. Ingame name is SpiritOfF1re if that makes a difference.
EDIT: btw, might as well add this in here, after downloading the 1.50 update, what do I do then to be able to play the maps/etc?

The easiest way to find the TG servers is to search for TacticalGamer in the advanced search. You most definitely need the latest patch before you'll be able to play on the server: the latest patch is 1.50.

Thanks, I downloaded the update a second time and it is doing it now(I think) And I searched for Tactical Gamer, does the space make a difference? gonna try no space ASAP soon anyways.

Great. Right after I installed the update and tried to start 2142 up, a window that says "Conflict with Emulation Software detected" comes up...anyone know what that is and how to fix it?

What version of Windows are you running? Is it native Windows or emulation like Wine or VMware?
Did you buy the physical DVD version of the game? If so, is the DVD in your drive?

I have Vista...and if you mean did I go out and buy a case with the disk, yes, and yes I do have it in my drive.
It was working fine before I downloaded the update, though.

Do you have any disk drive emulator software running? Anything from nero or the like?

If you have PowerISO, Nero, Daemon Tools, Alcohol or anything of the sort running (ie. an image is mounted), dismount the image and exit the program.
Try it then and see if the error persists.Fight!

Do you have x-fire? It would be easier perhaps, if someone could be right there with you when you try. I'm coloniell.

You must have SOMETHING running that 2142 thinks is emulation software. What DO you have?

I have no idea what that is...I'm going to uninstall it(hoping patches come off with it) and play it without the 1.5...maybe the patch before it, until 1.6 or whatever fixes it(a lot of people have this problem I found on google)

The best manual uninstall directions are the ones I posted HERE. That removed EVERYTHING!

Well I uninstalled(And reinstalled
)it and can play it. Not sure how to use my NS booster pack though. Is 1.4 patch safe as far as you know? EDIT: Meh, "newer patch installed"...well idc, just want the booster right now.

The install order goes as follows:
BF2142 vanilla
Patch to 1.4
NS
Patch to 1.4
Patch to 1.5
At least thats the way I installed it the last time, and it all works great for me!Whats the Deal with the tiny sig limit?
