TS obtrusive and seems to have a smell.

Okay in the last few weeks TS has gotton, well, LOUD! I can't hear my SL's orders or give my Sl'ings very important game start info. No instead I hear - Hey so and so can I get an invite, but why not. - It was Zho's fault, -Did you see when I...., or how about my personal favorite -Lets smoke an "E" this round. People ZIP IT SHUT.... But on a serious note; atleast keep quiet in the last 30secs before game start.

Okay I am done with my rant, thank you and have a quiet day on the front and please if I am in the wrong here it is becuase I am right and thats okay just tell me I am right and I will understand

I know that I am consistently asking my squad leaders to please repeat all their instructions in the last 10 seconds before the game starts because I can't hear them either. I love TS, and it's really helpful in squadding up, trash talking, hearing hilarious post round quips, but is annoying when you're trying to talk to your squad.

I agree completely, but this has come up before I believe. So everyones best bet who doesnt want to hear the chatter is set up a keybind to mute their headphones. Its what I do and what Ive done for the past few months.

This has been brought up a few times. While X mutes, I lower the volume by keybind.

Keybinds - keybinds - keybinds...

I use the mute function often. You can also set up keybinds to change channels - from the main 2142 channel to an IHS channel and vice versa.

Some of it may stem from the fact that there are so many individuals from the different IHS's in the general 2142 channel. Not too long ago, all the IHS's used to hang out in their own respective channels almost exclusively and were used to being able to talk whenever they wanted.

I know I have a keybind set to all my IHS members, that way if I have a comment to make on TS, I can do so without disturbing everyone.

I don't miss them.
Guardian says mean things, and reaper wears funny pants. And Quade is always singing drunk, and who the hell knows which Damonte is talking, and Unload keeps talking about someone's mom, and Eroak keeps screaming he's not TKed anyone and Quade starts singing about TKs. And on top of that the CO and five people are also talking and they look at me weird when I tell them to stop the drunken singing or they're getting kicked out of the squad

I just sit in a corner and look about apprehensively. I just want to eat my cookies in peace

(There's about five different conversations in total that I'm exposed to while SLing and in the 3rd's channel. It's awesome and horrible at the same time.)

I miss Xero popping into our channel and us hunting him down for a group teabag....

I miss hearing Rage and Mach flying around laughing their asses off. M***** would be screaming for someone else to squad lead... Somehow I always ended up on the other side and would be hunting down fellow 8th members... laughing at the one time I killed one of them after dying 200 times that round

Get the right combination of people together, and have a good time and laugh your butts off using the in-game VoIP... if that's not good enough, or you formed an OMGMASSIVELULZ squad, then pick a TS room to go in or create one

I make comments from time to time in TS, but I don't sustain conversation. I think a dead TS channel is not one worth going into, though. If nobody is saying anything in the 2142 channel, sometimes I just shut off TS. Unless I'm communicating with other 55th members, or playing CoD4 and getting massive LULZ there, there's no point to TS.
