    Password night postmortem, 9/26

This could probably go in the AAR forum, but it's not really an AAR so much as a thank you.

Overall, I would have to say that I enjoyed playing with squad leaders that I haven't had the pleasure of playing with before. It was hard for me to keep the SL commands out of my SM intel reports but I managed (sometimes). I should probably apologize to DrBeat for repeating the same sitrep three or four times in a row just for the sake of repetition... I was aware I was doing it, but hard habit to break. Thanks for putting up with me.

We had to prod people to lead a little, but they did it and I had fun, hopefully everyone else did as well.

I hope to see more of what we saw last night during our next password night on 10/10.

This was definetly a great night. Lots of fun for everyone and the level of play was unbelievable! Taking 10 minutes to finish a round that was 4-6, the revives and overall teamwork makes you realize what TG is about.

Lots of fun later as the numbers dwindled.....specifically 16 player Belgrade with shotguns only!! LOL!

Thanx for setting it up Lorax!

Thanks for setting up! I had a blast! Sure I was still wet from the marching band performance in the rain, which led me to feel sorta miscible, it was still a good time.

Last night was really great. I had fun trying to contain my squad over Ruins on CampG. We could have won the round, but heh, it took forever for those last tickets to go. Thanks to reaper for being patient with me. Looking forward to next Friday's password night!

Was great to see some other squad leaders for a change. Thanks to the SLs I played under: Hollowedsoul22, frozenchrome, Grimm, and a couple others I cannot remember at the moment, great job to all.

Aww, I missed it! I'll guess I'll have to make a note on my calendar for the next one.

Lots of fun. Wish I could've been there for the shotgun portion of the night. I think everyone involed learned some valuable lessons about ticket counts, I know I did.

That Camp G round lasted just under 42 minutes.

I am working on the FRAPS footage, but there's no sound. With my new Vista machine, apparently I had the wrong settings.

So I'll see what I can do with it, I figure a 42 minute file would be a little too much for anyone to want to watch the entire round, but if you let me know soon enough I will put the entire thing up.

    Re: Password night postmortem, 9/26

My favorite part of the night was the very FIRST round, where it was just one squad per side on 16 player Camp Gib. I was SL-ing EU, and PAC had a mix of 3rd and 21st I believe. The entire round was hard fought, and we were hemmed into Toll Station about halfway through, but refused to give it up! We managed to hold a 8-10 ticket lead over PAC almost the whole way through. Finally, a hard push overwhelmed us and capped us out at 6-4. But before our wounded counters ended, the PAC team lost all 4 of their tickets and EU won the round 4-0! It was possibly the most enjoyable round I have played in a while, and I enjoyed matching wits with some of the best.

Special thanks to those of you that were in my squad for that first round. You guys were AWESOME and followed orders to the letter!

Unfortunately, no. I was extremely dejected by the fact that we got capped out, and was walking away already from my comp, resigned to losing. I glanced back just before leaving the room, and saw, to my surprise, that EU had won the round!

Trust me, I am just as surprised as you.

Reaper has a SS of the final score, he can probably post it here when he gets a chance.

I thought we lost the capout as well but it was close. The next round we did win by 1 ticket.. Great rounds I will be watching the battlerecorder file later...
