That glitch has happened to me several time. However, I never got shot at by my own team.

It happens when you switch teams during the round, and I believe it shows up to people who were in your squad with you before you switched. The tags show up where they were last standing when they were on the other team. I'm guessing you were in the walk Rage?
Very funny though, I've been lucky to only TK like 2 tagless people before.

Excellent! I have had the tagless happen to me before as well TKing tagless friendly team members. There are days I can’t remember what side I’m on.

In case you missed it, you can also see when rage gets shot his health bar goes down and when he's getting healed it goes back up

EDIT: Mr Owl's counting from the old Tootsie Pop commercials is what made me count the clips needed to take down the console at the end. Would have been really cool if it only took three clips
