Re: I got my wisdom teeth removed...
I know how you feel - I had an unfortunate wisdom teeth experience...
I had all four pulled on the same day and I had to miss a marching band performance. I was in brutal pain for about 2 weeks - they had to put some gauze behind my back teeth for a few days but when they removed it, they left a piece stuck in my mouth and I guess my gums started growing over it until they found it and the swelling went down!
Good luck, dude!

When i got out of the navy in 79 I had them all pulled and the navy picked up the bill, there was a catch I had 5 they only paid for 4. Don't get dry socket. Stay away from sucking on anything.

Re: I got my wisdom teeth removed...
I had all four of mine removed the same day about a year ago. It wasn't fun--I had bruised cheeks for a week, and the anesthetic--or the combination of drugs they give you--made me sick. Throwing up with bleeding, swollen gums after having your wisdom teeth pulled isn't something you want to do, believe me. I was fine after that, though, and only had to take ibuprofen for the rest of the weekend. Didn't even need the Lortab.

Side note: People you call while the wadding is still packed in your mouth and you're still groggy from the surgery may think you're prank calling them. Including your own father.

I've been running hamster squads all day today until I got kicked. Man that was fun!
