Well first off all hi everyone, this is my first post in the 2142 section. I've been playing on the POE2 server for some time, and when I decided to reinstall 2142 I decided to check out TG's 2142 server. It's been a lot of fun, and the quality of play is almost as high as it is in POE2. So kudos and thanks on running a great server.
So I'm less then 500 points away from Field Marshal Gold. With no badges or ribbons waiting in the wings this is going to be my last unlock for a while. So I wanted to ask for advice. I'm kind of at that point where one round of good squad play gives me enough Field Upgrades to unlock everything I really need. I don't own NS. I would like to ask you all if you think the Recon decoy is worth more then the new spawn beacon. If I unlock the Zeller, I'd have acess to the decoy, and if I unlock the Accipter (which I'm not a huge fan of) I'd have access to the fast spawn beacon. The unlock itself prolly won't get used much, what's more important is what can be accesed through Field Uprades.
So what are your thoughts?

I think the recon decoy is the better value because it hides you. I don't snipe, but I like to sneak. I really haven't seen much of a difference in spawning times between the two beacons.

The spawn beacon is pretty much only useful in Titan mode and even then...not really. I use the decoy more than the beacon.

Decoy. I made the mistake of not taking that path. Now I'm wading though tough NS badges and ribbons to try to get it.

the rapid deployment beacon cuts revive time but 2 seconds deployed or not, so I'm going to say go with the decoy
