Yeah, I was trying to wipe it from my memory. Nah, that was a really fun night, even though you, me and Drennyn were all getting dropped like sacks of potatoes by hooper.

It looks like hooper's got the big brother's support too.

We don't discuss bans or the reason for a ban in the public forums, that doesn't mean "brig brother" is taking sides.

No, the big brothers delt with a situation the way we always do. Some of us made mistakes when we first found TG with not understanding what it is we do here and how we play. So if you mean by he's got big brothers support that the admins took the actions to force him to the forums and took the time to educate him to the TG way, then you would be correct in that we have his back.

Could've posted that instead of neatly deleting my post.

I had the joy of Chris in my squad for a change... I have to say it is the only time I've ever had him on this server that I didn't want to do cruel things to him and his family.

In all honesty Chris, you did fantastic supporting the squad, and of all the snipers I've seen you seem to have gotten the true art of squad support down. Now if only we could convince you to be active in the forums, and not just a lurker...

Hey guys Thanks very much for the love. BigMcLarge, yea i am V-Dub as well, I cant log into that soldier for some reason so i thought i could just be straight up and use my real name lol. Thanks again all, thanks for the nomination ( i dunno what that means in TG but sounds good ). I also want to say that TG has the best server Ive EVER played on so props to you guys, and I love to play on it so much that I will just sit there retrying to join in even if its full ( many times try to connect 20-30 times over NO LIE) I have always enjoyed being an independent party when it comes to battlefield, but i am really considering join TG.

Thanks ONce again , chris hooper,

    Re: Chris_Hooper

I have recenctly been on the recieving end of Hooper.....he certainly is a fine shot!

On the other hand, as EU defending the hill west of south town on Cerbere, myself and 1 other squad member (I can't remember name sorry) were posted here. Chris managed to snipe 1 of us quite regularly. But we revived and continued our rocket defence quite easily.

My point is that although he was getting kills they sometimes were revived on the first bounce of the corpse!!! Maximum of 4 seconds!

We were only wiped from our perch once and although Chris may have had a hand in it, he was ineffective as a hill clearing device! 'Nades or rockets was the proper undoing of our defence, and how we were eventually dislodged. I would take Chris sniping me all day before 1 medic with rockets that knew how to range them properly!

When coming up to that hill there should be somone rocketing the hill top endlessly and the little walled area to the right also. Search for Lyra's post with the pics about assaulting Camp G as a guide to identify these sorts of areas. There are places the other team MUST be to hit you as you advance. You must make these places unihabitable and then advance. Half the squad covers the advance of the other half. or your whole squad covers another. It takes great skill and quick revives to make this advance without the proper ground work being done first!

I, unfortunately, can confirm this. In fact, I've saved the burlap sack as a souvenir. Of course, it's no good as a potato sack anymore since it's been shot to hell--all around the head area actually.

All metaphorically speaking aside, Hooper, or (@#!$%@!@ as he's known if he's on the other side) is an excellent sniper. He supports the squad when he's with you, he moves around seemingly constantly when he's against you. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard or uttered, "Where the heck is that @#$#% Hooper?!" I'd be a much richer man.

I have had unfortunate occurrences where I have been shot once, than had to zigzag madly with a medkit out to close range with him, where he would proceed to snipe me again or pistol whip me.
And by the way, he's almost impossible to counter snipe. Just saying.
