That's because Chris always wears heavy armor.
Everyone knows light armor is so much better!

You know what, I used to always use heavy armor partly because I did not bother to un-select it when starting the rounds, and for so long just got used to it. It wasn't until recently playing a lot of no-vehicle verdun that I switched.

Now I can't stand heavy armor anymore, no fun if you can't run past the enemy to flank them when you run out of sprint I suppose it's mainly good for defensive positions.

the only time i take of the heavy armor is in verdun at the beginning so i can get to the monorail first. then i put it back on cause there is usualy like 2 squads shooting in that direction lol.

It did not work? Then what is next? Orbital strikes addressed "To hooper, with love"? Followed with infantry sweeps to make sure Chris is dead?

Let's not forget sending in the Walker and other armor. There's no such thing as "overkill" with Chris.

    Kudos buddy.

P.S. On a side note, unless it was intentional, the server glitched out and kept squads together. I don't know if it's still that way, but an admin may want to check into it.

You know, the problem with using Orbitals on him then sending in walkers and then shock troopers with flamethrowers and stuff is that Chris will be back on the battlefield in 15 seconds.

    Re: Chris_Hooper

It's funny. Since this thread came up Chris Hooper has become the boogey man on the server. Since I've been here I don't think I've come across another person who seems to be so universally known and feared and I've been here since 2142 came out.

An example tonight. I tell my squad there is a sniper up on x building and could almost here the sigh in my SL's voice "Yeah it's Chris." and you could almost here the mental "Crap" from the squad. Then we launched rockets at him until someone killed him. But there was no "Chris who?" or anything.

I'm thinking it's because he just seemed to come out of nowhere unlike some of our other members who built up their reputation a bit slower.

Of course I take just as much pleasure taking down other stand out TG members who make their presence felt. I get kind of a mental "Woohoo! I killed X!" then have to start dodging bullets from their following squad mates.

Soon squad leaders will be telling squad members to stick together or Chris will get them.

Anyway I'm just glad that TG has so many outstanding players that hang their hats here and I get to play with and against you all.

Honestly its weird that most of the time I end up on the same team, meaning that I don't suffer the wrath of Chris's sniping

He is a great guy to have in a squad, though.

Yeah, before chris came on the server, I used to stand tall, head out. When he came on, I learned to keep it down. I already have two holes in my skull. They're my ears, and I don't need any more.

Yep, I swear every single time I log on and play, I have a "Oh crap! It's Hooper" moment.
