Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble... Instruc-Terror is here!!

Hearken, ye ghouls and goblins, and hear the tale of the most fearsome event this side of Hades! The darkest of demons are assembling and are planning such schemes as will change the way you fight--forever! See here the fruits of their vile labor...- Learn the basics of serving the forces of darkness (basic infantry course)

- See how soldiers can be raised from the dead to fight again (basic medic course)

- Gain the wisdom of the wizards who watch from afar and burn their enemies to dust with explosive fire (recon kit course)

- Master the slaying of the behemoth (engineer kit course)

- Study how to keep the zombie masses stocked with extra body parts (support kit course)

- Train in new methods of attack, such as the zombie zerg (basic assault tactics course)

- Learn how to bring down the forces of light while keeping your fellow ghouls covered in ectoplasm (assault kit course)

- Master the command of the minions of darkness (basic commander course)

All Hallow's Day will bring these fiends together to hone this army into an even more fear-inspiring legion of killing machines. There will be contests, oh yes, to test the newly-whetted skills of the participants and inspire them to even greater glory! Be there...or suffer the consequences!
And what contests you may wonder? Well, none other than the Halloween Havoc scrim series!

For the reward of those that learn this day we present the opportunity to practice what you've learned. At 2pm EST, 7pm EST, and at the toll of midnight we will be holding internal scrims. The only thing is, in order to participate you have to attend a class! And instead of your regular TG internal scrim campaign ribbon we've got special Halloween Havoc campaign ribbons for the occasion.

And to preempt any questions. There are no different "classes" of this one like the regular campaign type ribbons. Whether you are in 1 scrim or all 3 you only get the one ribbon. As far as the ghost or the jack-o-lantern goes you get to choose which you like best but you cannot wear both. And as with all ribbons you have to wait until the official announcement goes up before you can put it on.
You will also notice that some classes are scheduled to be parallel with the scrims. Unfortunately in order to offer so many classes it was unavoidable. So in some instances you will have to choose which is more important: the scrim or the class.
To wrap it all up I'd just like to just add a personal note. I want to give a big thank you to all the TGU instructors and to our dean Smachin for all the time and effort they've put into their courses and for arranging their personal schedules in order to be around for Instruc-Terror... and of course for putting up with me through this whole thing. When I had this little brainchild in September I thought that it might be kinda fun. The more time I put into it and the more response I got from TGU the better it started looking. Now here we are a month and a half later and we've got an event unlike any other ever held by TGU or within TG as a whole. We've got 5 instructors teaching 15 courses over the course of 14 hours and have 3 unique scrims mixed in. TGU will offer more classes (including all the brand new kit specific courses) in a single day than we have held in the past year. I never imagined my little idea would have evolved into this and I want to thank everyone for helping it make it this far. However... this is as far as TGU can take it. No amount of PMs, whining, or pushing on my part will make this any better. From here it is up to you, the BF2142 TG community to help take it the rest of the way. By signing up for the courses, showing up on time, helping us keep to the schedule so things don't fall apart, working with your fellow members as well as the instructors, and all around being the great people and players you are... you... all of you can help us finish this. So join me and all the other TGU instructors on 11/1/08 for the Instruc-Terror event! Sign up for a course or two, come practice what you've learned in one of the scrims, and "remember to say trick or treat"!
... where will you be?Proud to have served with the TG-Irr, TG-3rd, and TG-Mth

Looks like I'll have a decent turnout for both my engi courses.
I'm really excited to be unveiling it for Instruc-Terror! I'm looking forward to seeing all your bright, smiling faces!
