Its a quiet day within the wake of victory as EU just demolished the PAC forces. While gazing out towards the distance, memories of home start flooding back to you. Nostalgia fills you.

Then something catches your eye... a figure covered in blood walking towards you swinging his knife frantically. You take a closer look and realize he is a PAC soldier. Maybe we missed one... Without even reporting the contact, you easily kill him with your Voss. Then you see another, acting in the same manner. You kill his as well. Then another, and another. The next thing you know, there are more coming in masses. You attempt to kill as many as you can with your Voss, but no matter how hard you try they still rapidly advance to your position. What the hell?! What are these things?!?

Zombies

Thats right people, zombies. And they want your brains!!!

What is this madness I speak of? Well, ZMod of course! ZMod is a mod for 2142 that places you and a team of very small numbers against 60+ zombies. Your kits are completely different from standard 2142.

Recon Kit:
Morretti - Fires off explosive rounds
Zeller - One hit kill and larger clips
Lambert - Not much different here.
Every recon comes with one RDX and two APMs

Assault Kit:
BOFORS DMG - Best buy gun upgraded
Voss - Does slightly more damage
Medic Hub
Defib
Shotgun addon

Support:
All three Main weapons - No new perks.
No ammo hub! Be conservative!!!
Shield - This can be useful... ok not really.

Engy:
Pilum - Renamed to OMG FLAMETHROWER and Im sure you can guess why.
MM bait - Serves as a zombie deterrent. They run away from it for 3 sec.

And every kit comes with 3 nades, a knife, and a pistol with unlimited ammo.

Imagine with me, if you can, standing on the Pond flag gazing out towards the distance. Then something catches your eye... a figure walking towards you swinging his knife frantically. Then next thing you know, there are more coming in masses. You attempt to kill them one by one with your Voss, but no matter what you do, they still rapidly advance to your position.


"HOLY CRAP! This sounds AWESOME! Where can I get it?"
Well, you can dl the mod here. You can install it without affecting your game play. Just follow the instructions in the readme on how to play the mod.

"Waaaaaait a minute. Are you telling me that I have to go against 60some zombies ALONE?!?"
Well, yes and no. This can be configured for server play, but there is a problem with that. In order to get a server to run this, you must change the servers modPath. That cant be done with BF2142CC or any other user accomplished way. It has to be done by the people you buy your server from, which can be tedious for them if you only want it switched for a couple of hours.

On the other hand, this can be played via LAN with no problems. And with an awesome program like Hamachi we can create a virtual LAN over the internet. Its made by the same people as LogMeIn, so it is secure. All we would have to do is get start a network and play that way.
