Unfortunately, my views on voting and the way the government works are probably a little too extreme for this thread, I don't want to derail it like I'm sure I have unknowingly done in the past (here and elsewhere).

For all intents and purposes, I voted for a necessary change in the system, or voted for not caring either way.

I'd prefer to not debate my political beliefs here, I've gotten barred from many forums over them, and this is one I'd rather not be "excommunicated" from.

I heard that some states/districts don't count absentee ballots unless one of the counts is within the absentee margin (at least MA, anyway). Don't take this as official -- just some small talk I was in with someone at a bar recently...

LOL, this thread was just to get the vote out. I could care less who anyone voted for, and really do not want to know. Everyone has strong convictions and rightly so. For political debates, please take it to the sandbox.

Voted at 9 AM this morning. As of now, even with things pretty much called, there is an 8,000-vote margin between Presidential candidates here in Indiana. (With two counties yet to report in). Pretty interesting, to be honest.

This is funny because some fundamentalist Christians thought Ronald Reagan was the anti-Christ. Ronald (6 letters) + Wilson (middle name, 6 letters) + Reagan (6 letters) = 666, the mark of the Beast/Devil.
