can the roflcopter be taken down? I believe so. But the fact that it hardly ever seems to happen makes me wonder. At some point in the next week or so we're going to do some testing on our private server, and let people know what we figure out.

That's it? I have seen more vicious uses of the ROFLCopter.

The rest are ALL engineers for in-flight repairs AND are armed with SAAWs for anti-air defense against enemy gunship coming towards the transport.

Counters are all around. They are called AA emplacements. A few nights ago, my squad and I were defending Power Generator with a ROFL that would come by frequently, and darned if I didn't have to demand an SM to get to the AA every time. I know it gets boring sitting in the AA waiting for air targets to appear, but it does deny the ROFL from the area you are defending. You won't kill it every time, but you will send it away.

I think it was half a joke Ronin, though to be fair Crux never really participated in the ROFLCopter.

When we ran it, it would generally be Lyra flying, Repear shooting, everyone else engineer with SAAWs and dropping motion mines.

I may be wrong but I belive the best defense against a ROFLcopter has always been bringing up your own teams transport filled mean hearted Engys.

Even Lyra's Ponies can't withstand the four SAAW missles and left-side-gun of an angry enemy transport.

It's a joke within the 9th. I actually have never been in an FAV with Lorax (he refuses) driving and I think I'm actually a worse driver. However, it's still fun to poke him and this seemed the best place to give him a little ribbing.

Actually, I did learn from John Flenaly. His Aaaagh squad was one of my first experiences with TG. And I'm a decent driver as long as draeh isn't in there with me. When he is, I spend all my time looking at him in the rear view mirror and the next thing you now, I'm head over heels... I mean we crash. I usually try to exit the FAV, draeh stays in for some reason...

Allright gentlemen, there is an unhappy tree in our path, please take it down. I need four Pillums, Y and Beat shoot for the lower branches, Eroak and Unload for the top branches, and I will drive the buggy into it.
One way or another, this tree is going down. Spawn in!
