thank you for taking your time.
PS:
... what happens if i just write the nomination again.. and put more and more faith in it? is there a chance that it will be accepted another time?

lol, black mirror
The thing about ribbons...is that they are simply a biased process. You have to impress someone, but that someone would have to be someone that does not know you to post a ribbon nomination. Why? Because, as Spulat said, people expect you to play at a certain level after they know who you are. I don't think it matters though, it is recognition from the "community" which is really just recognition from one person and apparently the admin team so if people are surprised or comment on your skill it is, in my mind, the equivalent.
And lets face it, if I recognized your skill by recruiting you, you don't need a ribbon to back up what I think or what others think too.

Re: Ribbons
I'm back from my day of work, I've posted this morning and I'm back and I see your reactions. I'm glad that we're having a discussion about the subject, that was the purpose of this post.
Thanks for telling us what you think about it, thanks to Dreah who gave precisions.
There's a fact that if your a member of an IHS your having more chance to see your mates nominates you and that's cool. In the other hand I think we just have to keep in mind that if your playing with someone who's doing something, according to the precision of Dreah, you should take the time to encourage him to continue that way.

Re: Ribbons
I disagree with that, as yes, it could be one vote, or it could be many votes. I think that if it's one vote, there's less chance of it getting approved unless there's real detail that's backed up by the battle recorder. We don't know what the admins use...
I think that nominations should be based facts and exceptional play, no matter who you are.
For example, last night I ran a learntg squad on camp gib. We had Command, ruins and central, lost central. I gave the order to move back to central to prevent us from being bottled up within ruins and command and they did an amazing job of capturing central back and holding the other team within toll while the rest of the team regrouped and came back to central and we might have won the round. The problem is, I went to take a screen print of my squad to nominate them, but for some reason it didn't work. I"ll be looking for the BR files to get their names. They might not have been on the server alot, but they did an AMAZING job of capping a flag in hostile territory and essentially holding back the other team while our team completed cleaning up the back flags and then moving up to assist us.Without darkness, how could we measure the light?
