Re: Nickname
I'm a chemist. Chemically-related jokes crack me up. For example, here's a golden gem of a joke:
Quote:
|
Two hydrogens are walking down the street. The first hydrogen turns to the second and says "I think I've lost an electron. The second replies, "are you sure?" To which, the first replies, "I'm positive!"
|
I know. I should seek help.
Picric acid is an extremely explosive compound, sensitive to heat, shock, and angry thoughts. This stuff explodes easily when it's dry, so it's always kept wet.
Hamster? I thought exploding rodents would be hillarious.

Rattler. It's a snake, duh!
Seriously: chose it when flying Gunship 2000 on the Amiga 500.

I find that joke funny. Will I need to seek help too?
What's hilarious is that you killed me on the server today and I told my squad "I just got killed by a hamster."
My nick: I love pink. I really love pink. And proud of it.
PinkyAndTheBrain was taken. (Loved that cartoon).
Pinkyhamster didn't sound right. Neither was pinkydog, pinkypug, pinkysquirrel. By a process of elimination, the swine won out.

Re: Nickname
I'm surprised I was able to take anyone down today. I felt really "off". I tried running in Zhohar's squad (he even invited me), but I was in such a fog, I couldn't think or act straight.
Sorry Zhohar!
And for those of us who truly need help:

A Chemist huh? I remember chemistry. Has to be one of my least favorite scientific subjects. Either that or Physics; I can't decide. Oh well, chemists are responsible for pretty much every "cool" thing we have. I just can't work as well with things I cannot visualize. Things on the atomic level.....I did have some measure of fun memorizing the periodic table.
Anyway, I forget if I already posted in this, so I'll do it if I haven't already.
O'Niell comes from StarGate SG-1. I picked it when I was.....13, I think.

Re: Nickname
Jaffa, kree!
Teal'c and Jackson were my favorites. That and Hot Carter.

Wow, I would have never guessed Stargate. I just though you were using your last name or something. That's really cool, Stargate is one of my favorite series and I loved the original movie.

Re: Nickname
LOL, all these wondering. I'm a huge SG fan. I'm only missing Season 8 from my collection right now, but I hope to get that soon. It's really too bad they didn't continue the show. There were so many unexplored stories they left open from other seasons. Oh well, anyway, that's O'Neill
