Re: Nickname
So my forum name is Volvo13. That's a combo of the fact that I love Volvo's. I'm on my 3rd now, a 1995 960 wagon with a 165k, and I have a 89 245 behind the garage that my wife is slowly getting pushier about getting rid of it. So take Volvo, combine it with my first real Nintendo game based on anime "Golgo 13" and stick em' together.
Now my BF2142 name is "Gnuberstein". So I tried to sign to 2142 as Volvo13 but I couldn't. Maybe since I used it for '42 or whatnot. So I thought about it, sipped a beer, thought about it, couldn't think of anything cool, thought of The great space coaster, thought of Gary Gnu, sipped my beer.... so I said "Look, you'll always be the new guy and never like and "Ace" player so bam! "Gnuberstein" silly... simple. Plus I really, really wanted to get going with the 2142 so....
Then I got some unlocks, got some more unlocks, unlocked all of infantry and most of the personal, and now I don't want to go back. So forever I'll be "Gnuberstein". Sigh... call me whatever you want.
See ya'll around.

Re: Nickname
I was a real science nerd in highschool and I always loved the idea of how in Quantum Mechanics there's no certain place of where a particle where be, only probabilities that it will be there.
So I used quantummechanic for awhile, and then when we had Quantum Mechanics in Chem 101, I learned another name for Quantum Mechanics is Wave Mechanics. Hence the name Wave. And the second half of my ingame name is an anagram of my last name.

Re: Nickname
I hate my nickname. I came up with it when I was younger, and for some reason I just used it. I wish I had not chosen it. I might just try to make another soldier.

Re: Nickname
My console gaming nick is JAYZBON and I tried to use that, but thanks to EA that soldier game me problems pre TG. The only fix I could get was to create a new soldier........while drunk!
I tried, but failed miserably, to type "jayzbon2" and ended up with "jazynob2".....I couldn't keep that! So I deleted the "nob" bit and was left with "jazy2"!

Re: Nickname
Well, my real-life nickname is Trevy, but I guess that was taken by one of the other 38,000 players of BF2142, so I took this one. This name is a common moniker I use on the internet if I don't want to reveal my true identity!

Re: Nickname
Mine is Lord of the Rings elvish for silver flame. Made it up when I was obsessed with LOTR and have used it for a username on almost everything. I really get a kick when people try to say my name! I have gotten argentina, argentar, ajklrehjfk (gibberish), etc. LOL!

I think mine's pretty obvious. I always get high 90's% in Math and I'm in advanced. I'm in the "nerd" grouping.

Re: Nickname
He used to have Math_Master, but deleted that for reasons I won't go into.
So, mine. I used to play Age of Empires 2 a lot, so I tied to create a random name that sounded kind of Gothic (not Goth, like the civilization
) because I played as the "Goths" most of the time. I knew I wanted to have it start with a D, other than that I just made it up to sound as believable as possible-consistent with frequent names during that era.

Playing BF2142 as:
-{SXGr}- J0KerRr
-{SXGr}- x^DeTeR
I'm always open for tips, tutorials and training in the gunship while online, just ask :)
Currently taking a break from MW2, but when I play its as:
eXileD// DeTeR
Even if you don't consider that I only have 7 days played in the gunship I'm one of the best pilots in the game
I will always accept a 1v1, friendly or not

Re: Nickname
Gorhaut comes from one of the charachters in the book "A song for Arbonne" by Guy Gavriel Kay. Not his best work and it has the minor drawback that a lot of people thinks I'm from Germany (I'm swede)..can lead to some humourous missunderstandings then you get order around in german on european servers since I don't speak the language despite studing it for three years in school + forced summer camp.
Why Gorhaut? Well, I didn't want to use my old bf2 soldier name for various reason and everything else I tried was already taken. And I wasn't particularly keen on adding a number to a name. I also wanted a name that had an easy shortform which I could live with.
