Re: Nickname
My name can't be more obvious. I think it was more of a lack coming up with something that was really interesting. Latina was easy and to the point. I do have regrets at times but now it's become like a second name. I've had this name for about 7yrs now. It's been with me for a while.
Latina
PS Not trying to be rude or disrespectful but does everyone know what "Latina" means? Just incase. This the definition www.dictionary.com has:
La⋅ti⋅na [luh-tee-nuh, la-] Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
a woman of Latin-American or Spanish-speaking descent.
Also, la⋅ti⋅na.Last edited by TG Latina; 11-17-2008 at 09:04 PM.

Re: Nickname
Mine comes from a roleplaying game call Kult. (shameless plug: www.kult-rpg.com http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kult)
Take the movies; The Matrix and Dark City, then add a whole lot of Gnosticism (the game came out several years before the movies.) The world is an Illusion, humans (once god-like and immortal) are trapped within their own bodies and limited lifespans. When you die, depending on whether you lived a good life or evil life, your soul is taken to have its memories purged, to eventually be reintroduced in a new body in the Illusion. A Nepharyte is what comes for you if you led an evil life. At the time of your death he takes your soul to your own personal Purgatory, your own Hell. There he tortures you physically and mentally till your soul is purged of your living memories.

Re: Nickname
Back in my 1942 days I often played the Desert Combat mod with the Desert of Doom community. My name then was MandalorianJedi. Unfortunately that is one character too many for 2142.
I chose LaezarFox because oddly, there was a pewter statue of a Fox sitting on my machine that I'd never seen before that day. The sun was shining on it in such a way that it reminded me of LASERs. I didn't like the spelling so I made it Laezar instead.
It stuck because I like the way it reads and sounds, but the question is does the origin of my alias lie in coincidence, conspiracy, or fate? Dun dun dunnn...

Re: Nickname
well, CoffinMaker came about when I first started playing. My first toon was JavaJoe but all I did was get killed. A friend of mine said he would make me a coffin to carry around with me because he couldnt keep up with the revives. So, as a joke, I made CoffinMaker and have stuck with it ever since.

Re: Nickname
Whoops

Vortex is correct -- Zhohar means "cockroach" in Croatian. My native language is Croatian -- I've only spoken English for the last ... eight years. I have an accent because I started to pick up English at thirteen years of age. Thirteen is the magical number when children lose the ability to pick up a language without an accent.Fight!
