Re: Nickname
Back when I was younger, my friends gave me the nickname Mech_Freak. Now that I matured, Mech_Warrior is much better.

One of my hobbies is photography and a camera is a photometric sensor. A lot of people go wtf the first time they see it but I can live with it. I also have played games under Astrale (city of heroes). I'll have you know Kosst, that someone in the old guild I was in on that game had someone named Kossy and I always call you that in my head. At first, I thought you were that person and you spoke and I said, you're not her.

Re: Nickname
Back in my days B.C TG. In Battlefield 2 I played the sniper kit a lot. A friend of mine once said "I hate beeing on the other team ... its like a big eye is watching me" + the effect that your eye would appear bigger while looking though a scope lead me to that name.
Big-eye101 was born. The hyphen and the 101 are for the uniquess since Bigeye was allready taken
And no ... I don't regret it. Its a name that allows a lot of interpretations and also can be visualised easyly.

For anyone who as been around a concert or marching band knows about the "The Versatile and Professional Dr. Beat," officially the BOSS DB-90 Dr. Beat. It is the ultimate metronome. In other words, it's a band thing. :P
Dr. Beat kills! Never will I regret it!

Re: Nickname
Well, my original nickname was FUBAR, everyone should know what that means. F***ed Up Beyond All Recognition. I have had that name since I was thirteen, big partier then...go figure. I moved to Maryland in 1998 and added the MD, I have since moved back to Delaware, but the name stands.

Re: Nickname
My friend used the nickname FLIPmode back in our CounterStrike 1.6 days in 2004. I usually switched my name often because I couldn't think of one that I wanted to keep.
Then 3 months later, he leaves CS 1.6 to play WoW "full-time". So I just took his nickname since he wasn't using it and it seemed really catchy at the time.
When he found out, he got angry at first but then we just laughed it off, considering that for World of Warcraft, almost all of his characters were named after the nicknames I used in CS.
Weird huh? So now for all almost everything online, I use FLIPmode. Fl1pmode is what I use in BF2142 because FLIPmode was already in use

Re: Nickname
I used to play XWing vs TIE Fighter alot, I'd fly around and hold my fire until I noticed an enemy ship's shields running out, at which point I'd chase them down so that they wouldn't have a chance to recharge their shields before I killed them. From all the KSing that comes from a playing style like that, I was always called a scavenger by my teammates, and a predator by my enemies.
Pred sounded alot better than Scav so...
