My job is pretty much sitting in this chair, maybe sometimes I get lucky and get to do some text edits on a few AutoCAD plans. I spend 90% of my time on the TG forums, facebook, checking email, and random other forums. Its pretty much destroyed whatever work ethic I used to have.

I drink a lot of water while working too, so I can provide myself with a nice reason to get up and walk around.

I spend all day with Autocad. What kind of work do you do? I do window design for large dollar projects. Highrises, stadiums, etc. Been a cad jockey for about 18 years now.

Work in the Civil/Site group of an engineering firm. A lot or mixed use development. Been using CAD for about 4 years-ish now I think, so I have an ok handle on things, but never get anything cool or challenging here. 18 years, lol, what RC was that? I started on 05 I think, so not a lot has changed since I've started using it.

This COOP is up in less than a month, words can't describe how glad I'll be when that day comes!

I started on release 9 in school, moving quickly to 10. Went back and forth between the board and CAD for a couple of years before moving permanently to CAD. Been lucky enough to have worked on many different projects. When I tell people what kinds of things I have drawn, I just say that I have probably drawn at least a piece of just about everything at one point or another. From laying out entire natural gas fueled electrical power plants to bolts on an airplane.

Haha, at my last COOP, one of the guys broke out his Leroy set, he felt really really old.

Damn, not used a Leroy in about 16 years...hehe. Though I do still have my compass/divider set I got from school.
