Dear Lyra, when playing the BF series, what is the relationship between the defense ribbon TG hands out and actual game play? (I know I've received the 2nd level ribbon, but I do not know what I was doing.)

Thats the crux with the ribbons. You often didnīt know wth you were doing for it
.. and you most likely will never know

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
What are your thoughts on the relationship between the popularity of a person and the number of ribbons they sport, and is there an impartial and more importantly feasible way of recognizing people who do smart things on the battlefield?

I actually ran into the same issue when I asked myself: "Why didnīt you wrote a ribbon nomination up till this point?". Itīs kinda hard to really be "impressed" nowadays playing on the top level. So you sometimes do not notice things other people will be impressed by.
The best way to notice what people are doing is... to squad up with a lot I guess.

Wait, ribbons? what?
Oh great and powerful Lyra, ruler of all, keeper of the chalice of pwnage, I beseech you:
explain these ribbons please.
edit: also, how do you suggest getting the gold titan destruction badge? 3 consoles and 1 core is a hard challange

Almighty Lyra,
How many time have you been accused of hacking?
Also what is the magic number for rockets?

Actually.... not much. Well... our Roflcopter got accused of hacking like every PUB raid we did tho.
The magic numbers for Rockets are 2+2

TG has a system for side wide ribbons where players can nominate other players. No ingame thing. Just something here for honor and fame.
This subforum tells you more:
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/tactica...-presentation/
If you recieve one - which is most likely when participating on a TG scrim - you may wear it in your sig. This shows other players "hey look heīs an ol dog we should either listen to him or kill him quick"

I made that one like way back then on a 16 Player Titan Server. So there was a realistic chance to do it. The enemy core was like not defended at all. kinda stupid but.... I has it.

What is wrong with trying? In all seriousness, I'll stop if you want.

RDX traps are awesome. Even tho I prefer them on the flag at berlin.
Often when setting up a trap and noone comes around, chances are good I am forced to kitswitch at some point to get a revive in. So I usually prefer to stay mobile with my RDX.
