Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
BONUS Q&A:
Q: Dear Lyra, attacking on Berlin is really hard sometimes. Are there any secret tactics you are hiding from us?
A: Yes there actually is a secret Ninja tactic on Berlin kept secret well and almost never used.
Zohar demonstrates the direct and brute Pirate way here:
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...os-pirate.html
Those pirate ways are quick n brute. Also will most likely trash your APC.
I´ll show you the secret sneaky Ninja way that will most likely NOT risk your APC. It´s a little slower but stealth takes time!

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
This is going to make those Berlin stand-offs very interesting! Defenders will have to cover this, and leave Roadblock a little less defended..

Battle recorders: I don't know the first thing about them beyond that they are something folks post. How do I record a battle, play it back, and make a movie out of it?

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
The servers that you play on MAY or MAY NOT have battlerecorder active. But of course TG has it active.
Now open your BF2142 and go to the COMMUNITY tab. There you see the BATTLERECORDER option. Now there should be all games logged that you played with a little link to the left.
You download the round you want and can rewatch it right there inside 2142.
To make it into a movie you need to record the Battlerecorder footage with Fraps, Gamecam or alikeLast edited by Lyramion; 01-08-2009 at 12:53 PM.

Lyra,
How did I miss those?
...or more relevantly: How can we keep a better situational awareness while piloting vehicles?

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
Well for one you can get used to toggle thru the outside views which can give you a good idea whats going on.
But much more important is having a good IDS / UAV / PDS coverage around you. Leech them of the other Squads on the Battlefield if you must!
Communication also helps alot. The more people n your squad and the more communication going - the mroe info will come in on the happenings around you
