Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
How enlightening!
I always thought the Shuko fired faster than the Bianchi.
Regardless, I like the Shuko better than the other two because of its clip size and sound.
What are the Lyra's thoughts on them?He was told that he should not kill, and he did not kill, until he got into the Army. Then he was told to kill, and he killed.

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
Hmm actually I donīt know. I just pulled the data off bf2142 stats

Phew I used them often back then. But I havenīt used them the last few months. Iīd prolly say I did like them about even while I never got warm with the Ganz.
Nowadays I just take a shotgun and throw EMP Grenades at things at range.

Tell me about ping...the higher the ping, what do you get or what happens? the lower the ping, what happens or doesn't?

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
Well here is a topic from some time ago:
http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...ol-basics.html
Up to 140 ish ping the game usually will still be smooth. Above 160-220 the game will lag behind and studder a bit often. Also whenever you zoom in you will get a kid of double zoom in animation and your aim will lag behind
The higher your ping is the more shots you make will not count. On the other hand your model might be a bit harder to hit, too. Because the lag prediction has to work harder. The comp teams sometimes complained i was hard to hit.

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
Dear all expansive lyra,
To be or not to be?
Actually, What is the pest place to aim on the bad guys? Do I go directly for the smaller head and fight off the recoil, or do I aim for the body, let the recoil push me towards the head and hope my deviation isn't too bad by the time it gets there? I've tried both and the 3rd always seems to kill me anyway, so I thought I'd come directly to the source.

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
As I mentioned before. If your target is moving in any way do never aim for the head. The hitboxes in 2142 are just too wonky to make headshots on moving targets worth it. Aim for the body and keep it there.
If your target is standing/crouching/prone still you can go for the head to get it over quick.
The "let the deviation let me travel up to the head" thing is an old lie that is being kept around since ages.
