I have the same issue, basically you have to get up using your space bar to ensure that you don't stay on the ground.

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
I usually use Space bar to stand up anyway. I suggest you get used to that, and it's the biggest key, always easy to reach, so it shouldn't be a problem. At first whenever you switch keys it can be annoying to get used to the new set, but hopefully if it was a clever change you'll soon get used to it and end up playing better than before.

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
Also, for the UAV's, it is possible to destroy it by infantry rifle fire, sniper fire, vehicular fire, and yes, Grenades. One time I was up on top of a building in Berlin and the UAV almost clipped my head off (well, not quite). I 'naded/ rocketed it.

Bonus Question:
Q: I just saw Silvers Video:

Once a Walker is EMP locked how can we bring it down the fastest without having an Engineer?
A: There is a little "trick" you can do as an Assault. When you shoot in the vent of a walker you empty your main guns clip first. Then you switch to Rockets and point black your full clip of rockets into the vent.
See Video here: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...ml#post1251644
If you have a Voss and the Northern Strike 4 Rocket Unlock this will give you the best results without having to go thru a long reload animation.
Full clip Voss: 30~ damage
Full clip of 4 Rockets: 5 damage each to combined 20~ damage
That´s right this is 50% damage to a walkers vent right there. If 2 people do it at the same time a walker will die in no time. Of course in a realistic scenrio people will often push you around under the vent so not everything is able to hit.
Humour Bonus Question:
A: No.

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
How much damage does a Clark RDX do to vehicles? Tank, FAV, APC and Walker? It would be rather hard to hit a gunship...but if you know that too go ahead and post it.
Did I just say if? Lyra knows everything I'm sure...Last edited by MrJengles; 04-13-2009 at 09:37 PM.

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
Clark RDX does about the same to armor and people as a single Rocket does. So 1 damage to Tanks and Walkers and maybe 2-3 to APC. Buggy is pretty vulnerable to it tho

In Tunis Harbor, while using a walker, is it better to go by land or by sea?

Re: The Oracle: Ask Lyra A Question !
Strange question and a bit unclear
You mean
- If you start in PAC base it it better to wlk otu the normal "Buggy" way or use the ramps to pass thru the water to eastern docks?
or maybe
- Should I leave the EU base in the back and walk around the water like a boat
or maybe
- When I want to go from eastern docks to juckyard should I use the water and ramps in the middle of the map or use the north route and step over the boat?
Hard to give an answer to anything of that tho. So I can only tell you "Sh*t´s situational" and use your brain.
Water in general:
- Covers your legs and only allows people to shoot your well armored head
- Can be lethal or passable. It´s different kind of "water" in the map variables. Some pondy look like you could totally stand in them but you die.
- Does not slow Walker movement down in any way
- You cannot be repaired in it by infantry - doh. (Unless someone is sitting on your head)
- Kills Tanks. APCs and Buggys trying to enter
- Makes motion mines jump around
- Makes beacons almost unable to be destroyed. (Against rules!)
- No cloaked recon will be able to slap RDX on you
- If there are ramps around enemy engis can mine your exits / entrances

Here's a good question, why would an admin kick someone who types "bullsit" when not "bull****"?
