If with glitches you mean explosions and recon invisibility turning your screen to black youll have to play with low explosions / effects, fixed it for me (some say that theres way to fix it otherwise). Sorry to steal lyra's respond :P

But why I came here again: About the macros, how does system count your weapon number, somethimes when I click 6 I get lets say item X, but sometimes this may change and it can give me item Y. I thought it was postion in your inventory + how many weapons you have on but sometimes doesn't work.

And are there any good macros players should use?

This is an old issues with Unlock Assault Rifles vs Stock Assault rifles. The Rockets and Defib will change places.

There really are no macros you should use. You can remap your defib key(s) tho. I out mine on F with Krylov and Scar. I also exchanged G and E button so

A) I can pick up kits faster and
B) I don´t bail out of the gunship by accident so easily

Try learning the walker yourself by riding it for extended time. But how to ride an extended time? Staying alive!


So I´ll give you a few stay alive tips. The kill wenching you have to learn yourself



A) Never stand still unless the enemy EMP was just used. If you HAVE to stand still for engis to repair you switch to the outside view to see the EMP coming.

B) Always be ready to flee into safe territory. Try to have an escape route infront of you. You walk back too slow but can run forward in an excellent speed

C) Hand in hand with B. Keep your Health 80 and above. Everything below should be a reason to retreat and repair.

D) Don´t play lonewolf walker. Seriously don´t. The best is to keep close to a competent squad that places IDSes like candy around you. And also is able to make out an EMP Grenadier and get rid of him.

E) Kill Rorsches. Do it. Those bastards are evil and have such a long range while awesome accuracy. If you cannot take out the Rorsch yell at your fellow SMs to do it.

F) Always switch your weapon to BAIT or DEFUSER when entering the walker.

G) While a walker looks fancy plowing thru the enemy lines. It makes even a better defender. You can make up for 4-5 soldiers defending so they can go attack.

H) Always try to shoot your main guns unless you try to remain stealthy. Even when you cannot hit things you can still spray their cover to keep them pinned. Learn not to overheat - ever.

Turn AA off in 2142 before using nHancer.
Open nHancer, select 2142, go to Options menu on top and choose "Allow override of predefined settings". Then uncheck Enhance in-game AA setting on the right.

Is there a way to deal with motion mines hanging under a walker? (For example, I toss motion mine bait, and instead of the mine going for the bait, it goes to my walker, and just hangs underneath it. When you bail, it kills you.)

Master Lyra: One, how does a Squad Leader sucessfully assault any Minsk conquest flags? Two, why do some people like that map? Three, can I make fun of them for doing so? Four, if 3 be negative, can I vent my frustration by asking you stupid questions?

1) It´s almost impossible as single SL to successfully attack on Minsk. You need a coordination of 2-3 SLs. If one SL manages to get into the building you can create a little fort there drawing attention while other SLs try to bypass north or south.


2) After like 2 years of 2142 people simply start liking maps they didn´t play to death yet,


3) You can make fun of the people that cry for Camp G being a chokepoint fest and at the SAME time demanding Minsk every chance there is. Those people surprisingly are the same.


4) You can vent into an empty cola bottle then close it with all your anger inside and toss it into the trashcan.



RDX cures everything, the Soldier and everything else in a 10 meter radius. Kind of like the DeathStar cured Alderaan.



Ya that happens to me, too. Go into the outside view and watch for the mine under your butt. Retreat and wait for it to disappear. Kind of annoying but have to get used to it.

BONUS Q&A for Starpower


One of the most well kept secrets released!


Q: Dear Lyra, sometimes when you ride the APC I put all my Motion Mines on the road to stop you. But they somehow don´t kill you as you drive into them.


A: This is a very simple but well kept secret. An APC can actually "crush" motion mines with it´s front ot back pannel. You have to ram the motion mines at full speed. They will sort of implode and do no damage to the APC.

This works from the front as well as the APCs back. If you are hit by a mine in the side while attempting this you will take hugh damage or die tho. Iit often saves you a bait and the headache to exit and reenter the APC.


You can also do this with the EU tank. ..and the PAC tank but it will only work if you drive backwards

EMP Mine? You take one, then put butter and bacon on top. Then some ketchup. Then you put another EMP mine on top. Voila your EMP Mine burger.


Seriously tho EMP Mines should be a kind of nobrainer right?

Left Click to put them down at the positions you want in order to stop enemy vehicles! Since fast FAVs roll quite a distance when passing them Motion mines should be placed behind EMP Mines.

EMP Mines are quite awesome to block enemy vehicles since MineBait can only defuse them if it lands right on them.
