I have received assist during aiming point (my game is in Polish language, so that's maybe not exactly the same message in English version) – what do you do to receive this?

Assist points apparently are an old relic in the 2142 files. Originally it was planned for you to get assist points after you stared down an enemy for your teammates. They took it out tho for the final release.....but there are still random occurances where it will show up

Ok...not a gameplay question, but never found an answer to this one:
I remember once defending my titan, and killing an enemy like 3 or 4 times. At this point, the guy talked to me (something like "i'm gonna get you", to which i replied by writing "oooh, i'm so scared...")
I know you can write to just one person, but never found a way to talk to an enemy.

VOIP only goes to squadmates or from CO < > SL. There is no way to transmit voicechat to another player outside that

I didn't use teamspeak at the time. And i was playing mostly lonewolf, so it wasn't one guy from a squad i was in.
But it was a long time ago, maybe i'm mixing up memories.

Aaaah, i think that was a whisper (btw, i never said it was voip, i just said the guy talked to me

). My manual says i can whisper by double clicking the name of the guy. i think you have to clik tab while double clicking, too.
Didn't bother to try when i started, because i didn't have a mic. I'll have to try it.

What is a whisper and how do you perform it? I never understood that part, even after going through the handbook.

click twice on a name in the score board after you switched to the " organisation" tab.
you now can type a whisper chat to the selected person via chat, only readable for admins and the person who was selected.
