Oh wise and virile Oracle,

What is the effective range of the snipers decoy?
What is the coverage (diameter) of an IDS?

I'm sure the decoy can easily bypass 1 IDS but how many IDS's would it take to completely cover a route from a sneaky sniper?

Decoy is 40 meters radius.

IDS I dont know.. maybe 15? Radius that is.

Lyra, other than humans, can pulsemeters pick anything else up? I think I heard Eroak once say it picked up a beacon, but I am not sure what that is about.

Pulsemeters detect heartbeats.
That means that pulsemeters are also useless against zombies and my significant other

Dear Oracle,

Now that apparently NS is going to be free to everyone, should I bother getting 2142 or is everyone just going to jump ship for BF2BC when it shows up? Is it really worth the investment?

(I should point out that due to a number of circumstances I have no steady income, which explains why the last game I bought was BF2 3 years ago.)

If the 2142 release of the patch gonna fall together with BF BC2 everyone gonna be there. I see some empty 2142 servers ... for a while at least... then BC has to proof itself
