Ribbon Nomination/Awards
I saw in one of the other game forums that the nomination for an award that was earned by an individual was posted. I liked seeing why a person got an award and examples of nominations that passed muster. I was wondering if that is something that may be condsidered for 2142 or if maybe there is a thread somewhere I missed saying it was not going to happen. Thanks!

Re: Ribbon Nomination/Awards
I guess I need to clarify. I like to see this when ribbons or awards are announced, and I was wondering if there is a reason why it is not done for 2142, but rather just stating the award and listing names. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Ribbon Nomination/Awards
The difference between the two (Spurs link to the PR Forum and Reapers link to the 2142 forum) is that one is an admin and has access to the individual nominations and the other does not. If this is to become the norm, and it's a fantastic idea, it will be up to one of our BF Admins to take it upon themselves to make it a regular occurance.
Personally I think it would show the proper way to write a nomination and the anonymity could be adressed by simply leaving the names out. Seeing the awesome writeups that get the thumbs up could have a very positive affect on our nomination submittals. Not that the average "good job" posts don't have their place, but some detail like this could push people to write their own great submittals.

Another example
I dunno why, but I really love seeing the awards presented that way. I'll stop beating the dead horse now!
