Ok folks, recently things have seemed to go down hill a bit and we need to address this. There are a lot of new folks sporting the TG tags and I am not so sure that they have read nor understand the rules. So, let's grab someone that we are not familiar with and make sure they do!
I have seen a lot of rules being broken by TG members in the past few weeks and, quite honestly, it makes me sick. Let's look at one rule in particluar:
Rooftop Beacons.

8) Squad Leader Beacons may NOT be placed on any roof or area which is not accessible through ordinary means.


Ordinary means includes climbing stairs and ladders and podding via APC or transport. You may not drop a beacon on a surface that can not be reached by any means other than Squad Leader Beacon pods. This does not mean rooftops are off limits, but it does mean you can not pod onto the roof and drop a new beacon up there.

Let's be clear, this means that if you drop a beacon on a rooftop that you can not get to by any other means, you have just broken the rule. It does not matter if you pick it up, you broke the rules. Now some might say that you thought that would make it legal, I say that you are looking for a loop hole in our rules and you will earn yourself a very long vacation!
Honest mistakes happen and we want to make sure that everyone understands completely, hence the post.
If you have questions about a rule the post your question in the CONTACT ADMIN FORUM.
If you see a player breaking the rules then report them properly in TS, global chat, or in the CONTACT ADMIN FORUM. The next time I see someone in chat type in anything like: LORAX is sniping the UCB, ADMIN KICK THEM!
I will ban that player until they understand how to report properly! It is not hard folks! Tell a player that they WILL be kicked or banned and you may find yourself looking at the banned message. You may tell a player that they are violating the rules and educate them, but do not threaten action!
Language - An occasional slip in TS is understandable, but when you take the time to curse at someone in chat on the server, you will have more time to understand the rules.........if you get my drift. It takes time and effort to write out curse words and I will gladly give you more time!
TG tags, Please wear these tags with pride and correctly. We went thru a phase when people where being kicked for wearing the tags wrong, I would really hate to see someone kicked from the server for that. If you see someone that has them on wrong, help them out to get them on right. These tags are like our flag and should be respected as such. You can't just throw them on any way you want!
In the recent weeks I have felt that the server has started to fall off and partly due to some players wearing the TG tags. I am here to tell you that the admin team will not let this happen and you will have great gaming on our server. Everyone know the banhammer, well I have gotten to the point that I am bringing the wrecking ball.
We need your help and so do the members that don't know what they don't know.
Consider this a head's up. Things are going to get a bit stricter to bring back what we are missing.
Now, get out there and kill some people!
