Not the sharpest tool in the shed!
I've been playing this game for two years now and I think I almost know it all. But I keep learning new stuff from time to time and a recent conversation with Zoticus informed me that what I thought was correct was not true at all!
I was commenting that some squad members dont acknowledge the squad leaders orders to 'Strike this position' by pressing the PageUp key. I've been doing it each time and hate it when a squad leader constantly issues the orders every few yards while on the run. Al-right! Right-to! You got it! Gah! I've been informed by my good friend Zoticus that this is not necessary!
I knew that we got teamwork points if we killed an enemy right after the order to attack or be at a position. The squad leader has to acknowledge the Commanders order to attack so why not the squad members. I've probibly been giving away my position before by yelling 'Right-to!' in enemy territory.
So here I sit in front of my screen playing and trying to resist the urge to hit the PageUp ky each time I'm told to go some where! So I end up hitting the PageDn key and say 'Not happening! No way! Un-oh!'
My hats off to my good friend Zoticus!

Anything over $600, and it would be pointless to try and reason with Grandma

Now the question is, as squad leader if your object is to take a flag, after you take the flag do you have to change the order to defend the flag to get the teamwork points or can you just keep it as attack? It's pretty easy to test but I never remember in the heat of battle.

Re: Not the sharpest tool in the shed!
Manuals are overrated.
Why, just last night I was in my squad's walker and found out I had forgotten to keybind countermeasures to any particular key of recent memory. I did, of course, remember the key it was on previously - that aforesaid key, however, was now the "switch camera" button, which had unfortunate results. Does anyone seriously know just how retarded one feels when, under a barrage of anti-tank fire, one hits a "countermeasures" button only to switch camera to looking behind oneself? It did not help matters, of course, that my squad lead was Crux, and I found it extremely difficult to muster the courage to "explain" the situation to him, as I could just hear the accusing voice in my ear: "Memento, why did you volunteer for piloting the walker then, if you can't even remember to reset your keybinds to anything useful?!" Thankfully, I soldiered onward and maintained my dignity, never letting on about my predicament; equally thankful that Crux never found out his walker pilot was a buffoon. And he never will!
But, back to my point, manuals are over rated. How would a manual help you when you switch camera instead using countermeasures?! Such people who change their keybinds to incomprehensible levels receive no help, and what is our government doing about it? Nothing!
