    Lurker turned player

    Well Neph recruited me here a while ago to look and oogle the L4Dead stuff I cannot add to my X-Box version, but now he twisted my arm a little and I am playing 2142.

    I am still having slight issues getting my voicechat working, but I hope to resolve that soonish.

    I am in as "Xanthusnoir" and hope to get my skills going.

    Sorry if I have no less than 10 forums to check at any given time, so if I miss something essential here please ask Neph to nudge me as we see eachother several times a week.

    Thanks and I hope to see you guys (and have you actually hearing me) soon.

    Just got booted for no join when the bloody game would not let me join a squad.

    That is bothersome, now the game is locked up.

    And again, after a game caused crash, lengthy reboot, and in the game again and kicked for not in a squad when the bloody game will not allow me to even join one.

    Not my idea of a good time.

    Frustrating enough to be a noober in the game, but to have to reboot, see the EA crap AGAIN, then get in to have the game not let me join a squad then kick me for it.

    Bleh.

    Perhaps this is trivial, but did you spawn in first or just sit on the squad screen?

    See the recent post in the tech-forums. Displacio has posted a reminder that you can get rid of the EA videos and credits at the start, so you go straight to the login screen. It's a time and patience saver.

    And I tried joining any/all squads as well as creating, and failing that I joined hoping for an invite.

    And for the fresh meat I think Neph said something about paintball.....

    I may have to save some for you in real life while I get thoroughly spanked in game. LOL

    I am gonna try again today or tonight. I hope it works better. It had me super pissed last night, but nothing angers me more than devices (and programs) refusing to obey my will. <<sigh>>

    I did however finally get my mic to work. I wonder how long that will hold up.
