    Smile memorable moments

Guys, this may seem like a rip off thread, but I thought we should try it out ourselves.

Guys would you think about the most memorable things you heard or saw another player do and share them. If you don't remember a very memorable moment, think of one of those one-liners an old friend or player might have said in game that has stuck with you.

You can poke fun at yourself and at others, but be kind and have fun.

Oh yes, James Terror, Teamspeak after Instructerror....good times.

My most recent favorite battle moment, was defibing Zhohar (he was on opposite team) when I was trying to revive downed teammates on the staircase of one of the buildings on Belgrade. He runs around the corner and zap! Thats the end of the story right there

    Re: memorable moments

hah...my favorite, recent memorable moment also includes Defibbing Zhohar.

On Belgrade, the teams were fighting in the trees west of comm tower.
One of my squad members was down (probably from Zho) and I had pulled out my defib for the revive.

I guess Zho was out of ammo and had pulled his pistol, trying to kill me before I got the revive.
I flopped to the ground for the revive, Zho did the same thing with the intent of putting his pistol to my forehead.

    Result?

Sadly...my teammate did not get revived, but...
    |TG-3rd|Z.H.O. killed |TG-9th| bb.. [pistol]
    |TG-9th|bb.. killed |TG-3rd| Z.H.O. [defibrilator]
    |TG-9th| BBgun. - I'll put your eye out, kid.

I was playing conquest on Verdun and I was at church when some orbitals went off, a teammate followed me into cover and I knifed him not knowing he was on my team, I then was shot before I revived him.

I quickly apologized and then laughed as I heard over squad VoIP, "Someone just knife TK'ed me, and then he just apologized."

Little bit of an lol there

    Re: memorable moments

Mine was actually a BF2 moment. I was driving a jeep to try and get behind enemy lines. I'm zooming along the side of a cliff coming around a corner to a bridge across a huge chasm. I come around the corner and what do I see in front of me? 2 enemy tanks and an APC sitting on the bridge. As the lead tank fires I swerve left, intentionally just missing the left railing of the bridge and driving off the side of the cliff. I leap out of the jeep in mid-air and open my parachute, sailing down to safety.

I felt like I belonged in a James Bond movie

    Re: memorable moments

I had a memorable moment last night on Verdun. I was a squad leader who had the misfortune of dieing out of bounds.

I was heading to Valley Farm from PAC base in a buggy driven by Yamhooligan. I should not have been in this buggy, we drove in the left out of bounds region of the map. We died shortly before we reached the wall.

About half way there, "Asecret" (who sounds like Ydoyouwant2know) piped up asking me why I was out of bounds and comments that I was about to die.

I finally made it with my squad to Valley Farm and we captured, but sadly we lost the round with Valley Farm as our only flag.

Zho's stealing the thread with his appearances...

I was PAC and was cloaking right up the gut at the beginning of the round, my squad got Crossroads and Square and were heading to Outpost. I was cloaking on the ground lvl of the building between Outpost and Square when I saw an EU soldier with a supply crate and Z.H.O. over his head. I immediately turned to try to get away from the wrath of that shotty to no avail. Me and 2 SMs dropped rather quickly =(. I remember the thought process that went through my head:

    (to myself):
"O look at that cute EU soldier, I'll just cloak around him! O wait, supply box.... hmm, I don't have a ghost available to drop so his IDS is gonna see me... O WELL! I'll run circles around him til my squad spawns. *sees name* TURN! RUN! HOLY SH..." You have been critically wounded. =(

Gotta give credit to my squad tho, one of them managed to spawn on me and revive me once, but we were all dead again before I could even stand up to take off running again.

    Re: memorable moments

I like holding the bridge on Suez in my Tiger, and watching FAVs swerving left and right to avoid my shot, but then timing the cannon just right and blowing up 3 guys in one shot.

Edit: That reminds me of this time on Sidi Power Plant me and my bro were on a terrible team, and the PAC had both gunships in the air. We jumped in a buggy with some other dude as the driver, and as we raced out of the base a gunship tailed us the whole way. Our driver was doing some serious evasive maneuvering, and we almost got away but the driver hit a fence or something and we all blew up haha! Made me laugh so hard because it was like that scene in the future from Terminator, with the jeep and the HK

Memorable moment tonight on the server: Martha's wonderful APC steal.

My EU squad was on Berlin, holding on to crossroads, while the other squads were at the back trying to retake outpost and square, which we lost earlier. There we were, trying to hold back the PAC armor from taking crossroads, getting pounded by the enemy APC while our engineers tried frantically to take a shot at it. I was on the rail gun trying to take it down and the APC retreated and went out of sight from me.

10 seconds later, the APC suddenly re-appeared with the most beautiful thing of the whole night: Martha was now driving it. As it drove by, our whole squad stopped dead in our tracks and started gaping "WOW". Magic.

memorable moments...any of those times when you manage to see zhohar, mantis or mixa and dont get pwnd/knifed/made deaded/pilumed in the face/zapped/pistold/ass-handed to you on plate

any of those times when you get to run away and die later are moments to be savoured!

(EDIT: and to be honest, when mantis is on you dont even see him killing you, just moving between flags and then bam, entire squad dead)

Lol, that was amazing, one of those moments that make you wonder what happened when it retreated.
