Don't reconsider to much, its not illegal if you don't kill yourself but it gets awfully close

Wow that was an ill conceived move on EU's part, almost cost them a cap out.

Throwing the word "dumb" in here is a little disrespectful.

I for one would call it an excellent - risky but excellet - move on EUs part.

- Square is a bad flag. And by bad I mean words that get cencored on this forum. Having Square as your only flag CRIES for a capout. Enemy APC and walker can shell it AND drive up to it easily to cap. Your friendly soldiers will all spawn around the flag 20 meters away and it´s hard to block. In my 2142 lifespan I have seen countless capouts on Berlin that all ended with the Square flag more than any other.

- EU Mainbase is VERY important for EU. On Berlin the APCs are ticket machines. Dont have your Armor and you will have a natural disadvantage over 30-40 tickets

Seconded! I have rarely seen EU Mainbase fall « easily » in Berlin, whereas square would get crushed by infantry flocking from roadblock and reinforcements (along with APC) blocking the north west. So Mainbase is practicly crutial to prevent capout... because when it falls, a game of cat and mouse usually occurs until the mainbase is retaken (or a capout).

FYI I personaly recommend replacing the words « dumb », « stupid », etc. by « ill conceived », « rather sketched » or something more mild... :¬)

Re: Yet another one: Zho's version

Only sure way to cap EU out is by forcing them into square and making sure you don't lose outpost. Here they were forced by too much force from PAC (no defenders) and EU had very well timed push, PAC didn't have players to spawn in because there was no one to kill them.

EU did great and well timed push, PAC on the other hand hoped that EU would focus on square which they didn't.

So who won? And yeah, I'm pretty sure I say this everytime to my squad when capping Square "don't get on the actual flag you can easily cap it from the sides where there's actually cover"

This is why I love attacking Square, you can be stupidly far from the flag and still capping it. This is also why it's a nightmare to defend, especially when your enemy is attacking from both sides with APC and walker support, it's only a matter of time.

Re: Yet another one: Zho's version

It's a cinch to defend if you have an APC and the attacking squad has no engineers. Just drive around and around shelling the flag.
