TG 3rd Recruitment Night!
This Sunday, 8pm EST. The event will last approximately 2 hours (and yes, you can come late, or leave early). It will involve a series of activities designed to test your teamwork, skill level and ability to follow orders.
To be considered for recruitment you must:
1) Be a Supporting Member of Tactical Gamer
2) Show exemplary behavior according to TG's standards of maturity and teamwork
3) Be extremely teamwork-oriented, both willing and able to follow orders closely
4) Enjoy playing BF2142
5) Be active, both here in the forums and in-game
and lastly:
6) Not be a current member of another IHS (Irregulars are welcome though!)

Supporting membership is required of all IHSs but the Irregs

Can someone please explain to me what all this "specialty" squads are about. I see a lot of the 3rd and the Irr's on the server but I never could figure out the difference.
Other than forming a squad and locking everyone else out!

This will give you an overview of the IHS. They usually have a general theme about them.

Some want "near realistic" play conditions. Others specialize in certain games. Others are European based. Etc.... Best to read here.

The entire purpose of the 3rd SFD is to create locked squads. It's what we live for!
Seriously though, we play competition wearing the TG tags. Sometimes we lock squads to work on specific stuff in-game so we can perform better in competition. It is never anything personal!

What if someone were to be interested, but they are not a current supporting member, however, they will become one if they are invited to join the 3rd? Should they plan on attending the recruitment?

Well we generally prefer people who are true members of the TG community. Honestly that would have to be a case-by-case basis. But if you've no intention of becoming a SM, this tryout isn't the place for you to be. Originally Posted by Unload
