Format: Probably 2 or 3 maps (1 round each)


Players will be required for TeamSpeak roll call 1 hour before the scrim.

Anyone who is not present 30 minutes before the scheduled start time will be moved to the bottom of the signup order.
This is so we can place reserves into their squads early enough to be familiarised with their teammates and their plans for the match.

This TG internal "Titan" scrimmage is open to Supporting and Non Supporting members, and will take place on Saturday April 4th.

Ground Rules:
- All TG rules apply.
- We'll be stressing the need to limit Titan movement to COs to make for a smoother playing experience for everyone.
- Whether you have a microphone or not, being on Teamspeak is a must for this scrim (if for some reason you are unable to run Teamspeak, post in the Contact an Admin Forum with your problem at least 48 hours in advance of the scrim. We may be able to accommodate for just one or 2 players not on Teamspeak)
- Messing around on the server before the match-start can be fun, but please prioritise the use of the pre-round time to make final preparations for your teams and your squads.
- When admins are asking for quiet and calm on Teamspeak, please cease all movement on the server in-game and pay attention, since it's probably something important.
- We'll be asking the EU teams to only have 1 of their 2 Gunships airborne at any one time. One of the EU gunships just basically needs to be ignored for the entire night.
- Teamspeak Channels for the 2 teams' Squad Leaders and Commanders will be created to enable SL-to-SL Comms, bringing yet further tactical coordination to this scrim. Although it is not a rule, it is heavily advised that all Squad Leaders and Commanders utilise their respective SL-to-SL Comms, since the other team will be using them and it is a huge tactical advantage.
- Taking "initiative" and lurking in the opposing team's SL-to-SL Teamspeak channel is expressly forbidden.


How Playing Spots Are Assigned:

All playing spots will be first-come, first-served, so get your signups in As Soon As Possible. When someone signs up, they will go to the bottom of the roster. If they are a supporting member, they will go above the highest non-supporting member on the roster, and below the last supporting member.

A reserve list will be made up if all the main playing spots are filled. Supporting members, once again, have priority. When a player with a playing spot cancels, they will be replaced by the first person on the reserve list.

Your SM status at the time of signup determines which list you will be on. Once you post, you cannot become a SM later to work your way up the list. You can pull out, but if you reconfirm, you will find yourself at the bottom of the roster. You may not hand over your spot to another specific player. Your spot will be given to the next available player.



IMPORTANT: You must only sign-up if you are very sure you can make it. Cancellations can be made, and the sooner the better, so someone can be brought in to replace you. You may sign up again, but you will this time go to the bottom of the roster. This is so organisation and squad cohesion can be kept to a maximum for the match. Players who no-show without notice will be precluded from participating in the following scrim...

What not to post:

* "What time will it be in my time zone?" Work it out.
* "Are non-supporting members allowed to play?" Yes. However, supporting members get priority.
* "How will you select teams?" By keeping in-house squads together first and to assure balanced teams second.
* "It's not fair! I keep getting pushed out by Supporting Members!" Become one.
* "Can you change the date?" No, the date is confirmed.
* "I'm on the reserve list. How good are my chances of playing?" Pretty high. There'll inevitably be a few cancellations before the match and there's usually one or two no-shows on the day of the match. Show up on time on Teamspeak and you'll likely get a chance to play.

We don't see these events often, but they're most definitely a TG2142 highlight, and this scrimmage promises to be no different! We hope to see a big turn-out from all IHS's, along with both new, and old faces...

We're expecting this scrim to have some extra ferocity, with the tactically brilliant SL-to-SL Teamspeak channels being added to the fantastic competitiveness of these TG internal scrims. This is your chance as an SL/CO to really push the boundaries with what's tactically possible with an entire team, as well as the prospect of facing other teams with full SL-to-SL Comms, so don't miss out!
