    Becoming a better player.

You know I've only been playing with you guys for a little while and I feel like my game is improving tremendously. For example, last night I stole a jeep and drove it past enemy lines to cap a flag, BUT, I now know from listening to squad speak that a car icon suddenly appearing near a flag is something you actually keep an eye out for, so I drove it next to church and ran over to office ruins to cap that flag. It didn't work, but it's just an example of how I'm enjoying playing the game at another level than I have been. So thanks for letting me squad up with you guys. On a side note, if I AM in your squad, and you don't want me there, can you speak up? I didn't even notice that I had been kicked from my squad before I got booted from the server. Felt kind of impersonal. Unless it WAS personal (it did say "Admin Decision" after all) in which case, maybe this isn't the server for me, I don't know. What are your thoughts.

You usually only get kicked from a TG Squad when:

    A) You are totally nonresponsive and ignoring Squadlead orders
    B) Someone forgot to lock the Squad and a player that originally should be in needs the spot
    C) Someone made an asset Squad like Gunship / Tank / etc and forgot to lock it after the maximum number of players joined
    D) You got kicked from the Server for a Supporting Member reserved slot and didn´t notice

Unless you had somehow broken a rule of the server, the admin decision was an auto-kick that applies to everyone who has not donated to TG (i.e a supporting member). The non-paying member who has been on the server the longest, is kicked when a paying member joins. This applies to everyone on the server, even those who wear TG tags.

So there's nothing personal in it at all.

Sounds like you were a victim of the squadless kick script. Contact an admin in the Contact an admin forum and ask to have it confirmed if you know the rough time and date.....just to put your mind at rest.

Hey Shiva, I was playing against you last night, I think I remember defending against that attempt on Office Ruins. You're right in realizing that an empty FAV icon near a flag is usually a good indicator that the enemy is nearby, and it's smart of you to see that and use that to your advantage. Sorry if I sounded a bit grumpy during that 7v7 Camp Gib match when you dropped an orbital on us as we neutralized Harbor, it was 1am and I had an exam today, wasn't in the best of moods :3.

On that note, welcome to TG! From what I was dealing with defending against PAC in that Camp Gib match you were COing on, you got a good head on your shoulders, you were telling your team to pull back (in global chat, btw, make sure you do it in team chat!) when it was clear that you were just wasting tickets on our defense. You'll fit right in on our server, just keep at it.

As for being kicked from your squad, I have no idea why it happened, could be because of a multitude of reasons, as Lyra pointed out, but if you were squadless, then being kicked from the server was definately because of the squadless-kick script we run. The server kick was definitely not anything personal.

Hope to see you on the server more!

Have a look on the thread above. Might clear some things up

Welcome to TG! If I may suggest that you have a look on the rules, SOPs and the primer to get a full understanding of what we are all about. If you have any question feel free to PM me. Or contact us in the "contact an admin" forum.

Welcome once again! It might happen that this is the only server you'll want to play on

Most probably the kick-script, it can be deceiving because it says "ADMIN Decision", I still have the PMs where I asked a bunch of the admins what I was getting kicked for and they let me know. To save them that hassle just read the posts above, and also read this.

    And lastly, welcome to TG.
