Well besides gaming I love riding my bike. From dirtbikes to sportbikes I've been riding since I was 5 years old, 3 if you count the lil power wheels battery operated motorcycle with training wheels. I feel asleep on that bike with my finger on the botton and my dad videotaped me riding in a circle for an hour until the battery ran out. I like to ride anywhere all year. I don't store my bike for the winter. If it's 13 degrees out and no snow or ice on the ground I'll ride. I know this is bad but I do admit I do things I shouldn't do when Im riding. Those shall remain nameless lol.
I think my all time favorite thing to do that ranks right up there with my love for riding....Jumping out of planes...AIR ASSAULT! ALL THE WAY! One of my dreams is to go to the HALO School( High Altitude Low Opening) but I'd have to go back to being full time active again.

Sparring in Tae Kwon Do is kind of weaksauce. When I took Karate from 9-15, I spared in-class with only the gloves, "cup" and mouthguard (shin pads were only during tournaments) and this was usually against older students with higher belts because not only was I big for my age, but because I was good against other students my belt. So my sensei deemed I needed a "challenge"...I am still surprised to this day I didn't get any broken bones.

One of my favorite things is being revived and dieing in rapid succession! The spawn screen and me are best friends! I really like the game and learn lots every night, slowly I am getting better! But since I post here and play here, all should know that we like 2142. So on with something new. I like to off road and build Jeeps and tinker with cars. Love to play golf, not good at it but I like it nevertheless. Music/stereo freak! Love loud good music! I really get into good military movies and games especially ones that have to do with the USMC! Semper Fi! And if that wasn't enough of a clue I was active duty Marine Corp from '95 to '99. I was an armorer and spent my time on ranges fixing/firing/teaching about small arms. Most def those were good times then and good times now! One note about that though, training in the Marines wasn't nearly as fun as training in TG!

I can echo that. My style is very aggressive. Even in class against people I've fought time and time again we still go for it. After 4 solid min of free sparring you can very tired and the only way I keep myself going most times is by making myself angry and throwing myself at the "bad guy/girl".

Alright, I am mostly taken over by technology and music. My schedule usually consists of school, one rehearsal for some show I'm working on (current RENT), and then checking the TG servers and forums.
I play piano, drums, and I sing. I'm not very athletic, as I decided to devote more time to theatre.

You guys are, like, my idols! I passed all the beginners' tests for karate that only required doing the kata, but stalled at the 3rd level because the test for the next level required sparring. Didn't have enough aggression to do it. Ok, I admit I chickened out....
Re: Because it's nice to get to know one another...
@Beat: That would be AWESOME! The first person I ever sparred was a third-degree black belt in our class. She picked me on our first day of sparring! It was intimidating, but fun.
@Fl1p: It's not weaksauce--it's just safer than whatever it was you were doing. :P
@pinky: Really, it's not as scary as you'd think. I was really intimidated when I started fencing because I, like every other sane human, had an aversion to being poked with a pointy metal thing. It's really not bad, though; you make it worse in your mind than it is in person. Sparring was the same way for me.

Hrm.
I attempt to maintain a 4.5 GPA, swim (school team), play bass+piano (right now in school Orchestra and next year in Jazz Band), do math competitions (qualified for USAMO), build robots (FIRST Robotics), take extremely amateur photography (D40+Kit Lens TeeHee), and participate in both Quiz and Science Bowls.

Re: Because it's nice to get to know one another...
well, after hours once I escape from working in Systems Engineering in the telecom field I have a number of hobbies and fun activities, besides shooting people in their pixelated, make-believe faces.
My "favourite" hobby is photography. I see there have been a few people mention it. Please post a link to share with everyone. Here's a link to mine: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mpippo/sets/. I've done "official" photography for a handful of weddings, love to shoot when I travel, and around town when I'm not.
I've played on the same men's soccer team for about 7 years now, normally 2 x 15 weeks of indoor through the cold Ottawa winters and outdoor for the summer season.
I get together with friends about once a week for a Board-Games night. Some regular games we play include Settlers/Seafarers/Knights+Cities of Catan, Powergrid, Mueterer, Bang!, Puerto Rico, etc.
Some outdoor hobbies include rollerblading, cycling (riding my cyclocross mostly... the mountain bike seems to collect a lot of dust the last couple years), and camping.
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...
