    Congrats on the promotion!

Also... I'm not sure I want to know the story behind Zhohar's quote.

I had two. First was video of my killing dirtboy with a shotgun in slowmotion and the second was dirtboys definition of a cap-out. Video is coming. :P

Hi all has anyone made a video of how to be a successful transport pilot? I would love to see a ROFLcopter video from the pilots point of view...

Donīt know if the Pilot seat view is that interesting. Itīs basically just holding still and compensating the movement. Unlike Fubar who flies worse than my Grandma (from a Gunners perspective).

Anyway here is a Video Link to a 15 min Transporting Video from the former No 1 Transport Gunner on the 2142 Leaderboard.

(Watch out itīs around 250 Megs)

Thanks for that Lyra and I get your point about the Pilot seat view not being that interesting, I was thinking more about instructional because when I try to pilot I seem to last about 5 seconds - I really must take off the blindfold and stop trying to use the force....

    Quick Roflcopter tips:

Hmm 5 Seconds. If you die from enemy Gunships blame your team. Gunships are the natural enemy of Transports. 1 TV and you are down. Their Gun can shoot your repair people out. Good Gunship = transport death 70% of the time. Excellent Gunship = 95%. Not your fault. Your teams Gunship Pilot or AA should be better. When there is no hope you can try hiding low ground next to a friendly walker. Often the Gunship will be so eager for the kill that the Walker can take it down.

What you should do is fly in outside view. Always. You can see incoming pilums, sawws, AAs, Walker Fire. Abuse your range to claim victims but still be able to retreat.

Give your gunner a good shot. Wobbling around like crazy makes it almost impossible to hit. If you need to correct your position try to only use 1 Axis at once. Use EITHER your mouse axes OR your keyboard directional keys. One type of movement is ok to compensate for a Gunner. 2 Types are almost impossible.

And yes I think the mouse is way better for the smooth little compensations a Hovering Transport needs. A stick is bad there.
