Another clanmod night! Wednesday, 4/22

The title says it all. On Wednesday, 4/22 starting around 8pm or 9pm ET, I will be playing Clan Mod again, either by myself (not much fun) or with you. I'll let you decided which.

So, what is Clan Mod and why should you consider it? Well, rather than going through it myself, I'll let Zhohar explain it (with minor updates from me here and there):

Not in the least

Clanmod installation is simple and it doesn’t modify your default BF2142 installation. You won’t lose any of your stats, unlocks or settings.
You start BF2142 with one icon, you start Clanmod with a different icon. While in Clanmod, your unlocks are limited – when you play regular Battlefield you will have your regular unlocks back. When you remove Clanmod, your BF2142 installation is still the same – you won’t lose any settings or stats.

This sounds cool but I’m new at all of this – is there someone I could ask questions?

Sure thing. Hop into the TS channel on Wednesday night between 8PM and 9PM EST and we’ll be happy to guide you. Wednesday is Clanmod night on TG – there’ll be people in the BF2142 -> Clanmod subchannel who can help you get set up.

How do I install it?

1. Download the client install program from here. (Official website.)
2. Install Clanmod.
3. Hop onto TS.
3. Join us for TG Clanmod night on Wednesday, 3/11 at 9PM EST!

What is the server information?

The easiest way to join the Clanmod server is to join on a TG buddy. The server will be called something like “[3.02]Clanmod …”

If you’d like to join by IP, click on Multiplayer -> Advanced -> Connect to IP.

IP Address: 66.55.154.195
Port: 16567
Password: (there is no password)

So there you have it, Clan Mod in a nutshell. For those that haven't tried it or heard of it, it's a LOT of fun as well as a little stressful. For those that have tried it, please speak up and share your thoughts.

And for those that caught on, yeah, I can be VERY lazy sometimes, but I prefer to think of it as being somewhat proficient with the site search and overly proficient with the Windows copy/paste shortcuts ...

For those that did not play with us the last CM night, you should definitely try it out! We had a blast, and it would be awesome with a few more people!

Is there any time you guys get on that isn't wednesday? I am always at my youth group that night.

Unfortunately, Wednesday is the only day of the week that I can actually play, if that. However, that doesn't mean people can't decide to do this on other nights, the server is there, all you have to do is ask to use it and we'll set it up for you.
