EA Login System currently down
The EA login system is down presently ( as of Apr 30/09 6pm EST). It has been down for about 45 minutes. This will affect games which require validation to play, such as 2142, BF Heros, BF2, etc.
If you had logged in before their system crash, you likely will be able to continue playing. If you try to start up a game now, you are out of luck until they fix it.
Also, the login for their tech support is affected, so you can't log tickets either!

It's now 7:23 PM Eastern and I've been able to log into the game successfully. Looks like this was a temporary problem.
