Adequate Cover
Just reminder that an entire squad, even a team should not hide behind the same bit of cover...

...but also note the guy in the middle who is q-spotting the enemy...I want a semi-automatic grenade launcher for the support role... like the one available in Aliens vs. Predator 2. All those different "warhead" types would be extremely useful.

Re: Adequate Cover
Lol! Seriously who taught those guys

And yeah I keep seeing this happen: I'm in some safe spot getting health and watching the fighting, then all of a sudden some rockets or grenade send everyone scrambling behind MY cover and I say "Guys don't all stand in one spot" and then the second volley of rockets and grenades follows...

That picture is almost begging for an RPG to fly in and hit that car.

Na, but there is a friendly humvee coming down the road at full speed without time to swerve.
I know what happened...someone spotted Hooper...yes in real life with a sniper rifle.

Re: Adequate Cover
There is no such thing as adequate cover in 2142. The rockets will find you.

Re: Adequate Cover
It's one of the hardest-earned lesson's I've received from all of you, my peers, at TG.
Just because I'm hiding behind some cargo container, and the bullets can't travel through it, doesn't mean that there's a whole squad of assault-medics who are more than happy to send me "care packages" in the form of airburst rockets. I've also noticed that we TGers use rockets far more often than most people; they dolphin dive instead.|TG|picric_hamster

Re: Adequate Cover
Yeah to be honest, before I joined TG I rarely used rockets. I mean, I was playing on the TG server way before I decided to join and I still didn't use rockets that often. Now, "oh look! We have EU troops defending Command Center at Cerebrae (or however its spelled) and they are in the building! Rocket rocket rocket rocket, reload, rocket rocket rocket rocket, reload; etc.
In regards to that picture though. If I was a guy in the back I would be hiding behind those shrubs in the back. Beats being out in the open!

Re: Adequate Cover
I think a lot of people said "Wow! A rocket launcher for my Voss? It's going to be like Doom all over again!", and found out that airburst rockets are not the same as the rockets you use in Doom.
