Video: 300m Move Marker

Otherwise known as: being a squad leader does have its advantages and "tanks are sniper rifles, not shotguns".

Wow, I gotta admit that's pretty awesome. How long did it take you to learn exactly how much your shot arcs at 300m?

As a side note, using SL markers for rangefinders is incredibly common in PR, and I've occasionally used it for rocket bearings. Nice shot.

I can imagine myself in the target's position. "Killed by Zhohar!,,,,where the hell is Zho?" Nice shot.

    Re: Video: 300m Move Marker

I don't quite understand why the move marker was helpful. There's no numerical range finder on the tank cannon... you just have to kind of guess, and that guess, if you're good, comes from experience with previous shots. I've never known what ranges those lines on the reticle correspond to, I just fire by gut feeling and am usually right.

You saw the structure on the interactive map, and you, with your extensive knowledge of the map, can recognize the tower you marked in your tank's field of vision... so I fail to see how putting a move marker there was of any help at all.

That said, it was a hell of a shot, and good job!

Thats how I've always done it, but I don't think I could pull off that kind of shot. Good Job Zhohar!

Nice shot indeed! It never even crossed my mind to try that.

Because knowing the "gut feeling" isn't as accurate as knowing that at x yards the shot drops y distance.
