Happy Memorial Day
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has served, is serving, or has given their life for our freedom. Without those brave people we would not be where we are today.
You may or may not like the way the country is run, operating, spending your money, or anything else you can think of. You can thank anyone of the people that have served in our military for your freedom to express your opinion, and there are a few other countries that can thank our military and teamwork for their freedom.
I have never served, but hold the highest respect for anyone that has, and to the families of those who have lost loved ones on the battlefields.
To all, I say thank you and if you never hear it anywhere else....GREAT JOB!

Re: Happy Memorial Day
Thank you to those who are currently serving and to those who are enlisting, currently doing the delayed entry program, going through basic/AIT thank you for joining at a time of war. You are joining the military at a time where you know you will most likely do a tour in the middle east. You have accepted these dangers and still raised your right hand. I have the up most respect for those who join at a time of war. I hope we cross paths sometime and would love to serve side by side.
For those near the Fort Meade, Maryland area, shoot me a PM or get a hold of me on Teamspeak. We'll go get some beers somewhere. First round is on me.

Re: Happy Memorial Day
I forgot to add one thing, when you see a soldier at any point and time please take a moment to walk up and thank them. Whether it be the airport, market, train station, gas station, or wherever......just thank them. They deserve it and I don't think that they here it enough!

Re: Happy Memorial Day
Well said, Fubar.
Thanks to all those serving, and to our veterans as well. May we never forget immeasurable service and sacrifice; may the values of memorial day live through difficult and changing social and economic times.
Thank you again.

Re: Happy Memorial Day
Just got around to finding the 2142 forums after this weekend--well said, Fubar. I posted my Memorial Day thread in the TG general forums last Friday; feel free to add whatever you like, regardless of the date. I'm sure it's appreciated.
