Scrim WITH the 3rd every Sunday!
Until further notice, every Sunday from 8pm EST until we got to bed, the 3rd will be hosting 8 vs 8 infantry only scrims in its private server. Note the title of the thread is scrim with the 3rd, not scrim against the 3rd.
We will split the 3rd evenly between the two teams. The remaining spots on each team will go to whoever is in our teamspeak channel asking to be let in. You will fight in a 3rd-led squad against a team made up of the 3rd and your fellow TG members.
The gameplay will be fast and furious with much shooting and reviving. It will give people a taste of what competition scrims are like (both the scale of gameplay and the skill level involved). You do not need to sign up. Simply show up on Sunday and hope there's a spot free!

Right. Supporting Members will get first preference where possible, but in all honestly I expect especially after the first week if you show up you'll have a good chance. There are only 16 or so active players in the 3rd right now. Probably only half of those will be there at any one time, which means 8 slots for other people.

If I'm on teamspeak, I will definitely come. I will warn you though, I don't want to make you all look bad so I'm going to take measures to reduce my skill. To start I will drink a lot of alcohol. I won't sleep the night before and I will play naked with my thermostat set to 50 degrees with two fans blowing over ice at me. With these measures laid out on the table, I hope the other side does not get discouraged and give up when they see TechWar.

Will there be any spectator spots open? I'd like to observe a whole match at my leisure - it would be a good learning tool.
